CHAPTER SIX
“Did I thank you for plugging me in with yo’ pops yet?” Pain asked as he munched on fries. A smiling Treasure looked to the ceiling like she was thinking, holding a fry with ketchup on it.
“You know? Come to think about it… you didn’t.”
“Well, thank you,” he said, eating the fry she fed him smirking.
“I gotta get chu something nice for helping me close the deal.”
“Most def’. Hold on a second, babe.”
She picked up a napkin and folded it. Leaning forward, she dabbed the specks of ketchup on the sides of his mouth, a concentrated expression on her face. Looking up at her, he smiled. When she was done, she sat the napkin aside.
“Okay. I got it.”
She was about to lean back in her chair when she locked eyes with him as he was taking a sip of his milkshake. He sat his cup down
