CHAPTER FOURThe sun was just setting when Grief had finally made it home. As soon as he opened his front door, he carried his short form over to the mini-bar and poured himself up a glass of Jack Daniels. After swirling the ice around inside of the glass, he took a sip of it and hissed as the spicy liquor met with his taste buds. Licking his lips, he took another sip and made his way down the corridor of his house, stopping at the door of his study. Turning the doorknob, Grief pushed his way inside of the room and sat down at his executive chair. It was there that he spotted the portrait of his gorgeous wife. He picked up the portrait and brought it closer to him, resting it on his stomach. He continued to take casual sips from his glass, finding his eyes stinging and then tears streaming
