I grabbed the consent form and signed it as quickly as I could.
As I handed it back to the doctor, I caught his hand, my heart pounding.
"Doctor, how's my son?"
"Don't worry. This is just a standard consent form. He's still receiving treatment, but you brought him here in time. He should be out of danger. We'll move him to a regular room soon."
The doctor's words lifted the weight crushing my chest.
Only then did I notice the two Alphas standing face-to-face. The tension between them was so intense it felt like the air itself had frozen.
Daniel stared at Leo in disbelief.
"What are you doing here? You're the Alpha of the Riverbend Pack. What do you have to do with Amelia and Kimi?"
