Jenny was stunned. She had never realized I held that much influence in the Riverbend Pack.
She threw away every last bit of her pride, crying as she begged me.
"Luna Amelia, please. Give the Dubois Pack one more chance. I'll do whatever you ask. Anything. I won't refuse."
I knew better than anyone how proud Jenny was.
For someone like her, humiliating herself this way was worse than death.
I looked at her expressionlessly.
