Shutting down my feelings

Sophia's POV

Today we are going to campaign in the forest area . My mind is off because of whatever i kept thinking yesterday . I decided not to think about Kevin but still kept thinking about him . I didn't understand why i kept thinking about him so much . Maybe because he is nice or Maybe because he is a good friend . “ hey Sophia ” Jessica called me while I was busy thinking about Kevin . “ Hey! ” I said. “ i am sorry Sophia …i wanted to share room with you  but Sienna already asked  ” Jessica said.

“ it's alright ..you don't have to feel sorry …i actually wanted to stay alone yesterday ” I said. “ ok that's good ” Jessica said. “ hey Sophia  , mind if I take Jessica with me for a second ” Sienna said. “ it's alright ” I said.

After Jessica left i started thinking about Kevin again and then i realised that i was thinking About him so much because i fell in love with him …like seriously ? … ugh I never wanted things to end this way.  I even knew that Kevin is deeply in love with Emily .‘I don't want to think about any of it ’ i told myself . And finally decided to stop my heart from losing its stability .

“ Hey Sophia  ” a familiar voice called me and it was none other than Kevin but my decision was strong. “ hey Kevin good morning ” I said. “ oh well you just wished me a good morning ” he said sarcastically . “ ya ya my mistake ” i replied sarcastically. “ ok .. did you see Emily anywhere ” he asked. “ No i didn't ” I said. “ oh …if you find her then Lemme know ” he said. “ Alright ” I said .

“ well do you wanna sit with her today while the trip ”i asked. “ well if she will be alone then i would love to join her ” he said with a big bright smile on his face . I felt happy seeing him smile . “ she is very important to you , isn't she ? ” i asked. “ well you can say that ..I won't deny …but you know what these days it seems like you are a bit more closer to me ” he said. “ well i will take it as an compliment ” I said sarcastically . “ ok fun is fun ..Lemme know if you find her ” he said again and left .

Seeing him so happy just by the thought of sitting next to Emily ,i finally decided to shut down my feelings for him……. Totally . And shutting down feelings is a very easy task for me because i have done this many times.

Kevin's POV

As today we are going to the forest campaign , i wanted to sit beside Emily and confess my feelings for her . I asked Sophia if she saw her ,but seemed like she didn't . I asked her to DM me if she find Emily .  While I was searching for Emily , i saw her coming out from the lounge where we were staying . I was about to call her out when i saw that she was going to the bus together with James . And i knew that they were going to sit together . I was a bit sad but i then decided not to think about it and focus on how i should confess her. When i entered the bus it was almost full , Emily was sitting with James and as usual Sophia was sitting alone with earphones plugged in.  I then decided to sit beside Sophia.

“ hey Sophia ” I said . “ hey , I thought your were going to sit beside Emily ” she asked. “ I wanted to but things doesn't work the way I want ” I said. “ It's alright , better luck next time ” she said with a bright smile and it really helped me calm myself down . “ So what are you planning to do today ” i asked. “ well i don't know …what about you ? ” she asked. “ I am planning to do something but don't know what will be the results ” I said . “ AND what is it that you are planning to do ? ” she asked with enthusiasm . “ Well it's not that big ” i said .

“ It's doesn't matter just tell me ” she said . I didn't feel like hiding it from her , so i told her “ I'm gonna confess my feelings to Emily ” I said . “ What feelings ?” she started teasing me . “ I love her and I want to let her know what I feel ” i said kind of seriously . “ wow man! Don't be so serious , it will work out don't worry ” she said again giving her big smile . “ so what are we going to do until we reach the campaign location ?” i asked.

“ This ” she took her earphones out and then plugged them in her ears . “ Oh c'mon you can't do this ..i am bored ” i said making a crying face . “ Do the same thing” she replied and closed her eyes .

As she said i put my earphones on and fell asleep .
