A successful wingman

Kevin's POV

It was almost noon we still had time and we were really having fun . But I was missing Sophia a lot , every single picture we clicked I imagined Sophia in it . My heart started beating fast just by the thought of being with her and spending some quality time with her. I didn't know but now it seems like I fell in love with her so badly that I can't live without her . ( I mean how can anyone fall in love so fast , it's not even been a month since we met but I am going crazy for her . I guess when you finally fall in love it doesn't matter how long you have known the person but how they understood you when you finally met them . And Sophia understands me very well )

“ Hey kevin what's the matter with you ” Alex asked.

“ what do you mean ” I asked back. “ c'mon man you have been spacing out like hell , is the game boring ” Alex asked. “ well as you can see Jessica in not here she said she will be back in a minute or two , let's talk about something else till then ” alex said .

“ what do you wanna talk about ?” I asked . “ well you can ask me if you want to ask me anything ” Alex said. After thinking for a while “ ok , tell me about your first love or crush ” I asked. He didn't even hesitate before telling . “ my first love is Jessica ” Alex said. “ I knew it , I knew you two were way too close to just be friends ” I said. “ oh well about that she takes me only as a friend  ” Alex said with a sad face. 

“ oh c'mon don't you see the look on her face when she is around you ,she is always happy and jumping around”i said with a ‘I don't believe you’ look . “ it's not like that kevin ” Alex said looking down . “ Then you want me to think that she doesn't have any feelings for you ” I asked still in disbelief  , since I have known these two I never once thought that Jessica won't have feelings for Alex . “ yeah , she doesn't ”alex replied . “ ok fine then let's find out just to be sure ” I said smirking at him .

“ No I am not doing ANYTHING that will destroy my friendship with Her ” Alex shook his head.

“ Alex I promise nothing is gonna happen to your friendship ,but if it works then you both will be together” I said . “Ok I'll decide what to do after listening to you ” Alex said.

“ Ok so it's very simple , all you have to do is go confess your feelings to her and if it works out then you both will be together BUT if it won't work the way we want it to then you can just tell her that it was a dare that I gave you and if you were not to complete that dare it was gonna cost you your blood …. How does it sound ?” I asked him . “ cost me my BLOOD ??????” Alex whisper shouted at me . “ wow boy it's not like I am actually gonna suck your blood ” I said . “ uh….ah….but what if she doesn't believe ” Alex cried out . “ c'mon Alex I will help you make her believe IF it won't work out ” I said. “ Okay ” Alex said dumbly .

After sometime Jessica came back from wherever she went and I pushed Alex towards her. “ Guys I found awesome pictu-……oh wow ” Jessica said while walking towards us but was startled when I pushed Alex towards her . “ What happened Alex ?” Jessica asked.  “ Uh well …. actually I am….I mean I have something I need to tell you ” Alex stuttered . “ Well what is it Alex ? ” Jessica asked now with a worried expression . “ well it's nothing important if you don't wanna hear it ” Alex said and I mentally slapped myself for encouraging this i***t . “ Oh c'mon Alex anything about you is important to me ” Jessica said. “ Uh then here it goes ” Alex started .

“I have been wanting to tell you this for a long time now but I don't know how to start or from where to start , it--- it's just really difficult to say it out loud an---and I don't know what you will think of me if I will tell this an--” Alex was panicking when Jessica spoke “ it's alright Alex , tell me whatever you have to tell me I promise nothing will change I will be your friend no matter what ” Jessica said. “ uh--- you remember when I told you that I like Sienna ? ” Alex asked to which Jessica silently nodded . “ I--I  was actually ly--lying back then , I never actually had feelings for her . Back then when you asked me if I liked someone I was so shocked that I didn't know what to say but then you said that you knew that I definitely like someone but you don't know who it was and when you were forcing me to tell you the girl's name , the first named that popped in my head was Sienna” Alex said and Jessica was still listening silently and this made me think that the feelings were mutual but I had to watch till end to see the result.

Alex started again but looking down to his feet this time “ The girl that I have been in love with for so long is you Jess but I didn't know how to tell you this because you were too friendly towards me and it made me feel horrible when I started having feeling for you and I thought if I would take one more step then I would lose my best friend and I didn't wanted that no matter what ” Alex finished his big speech like confession and never lifted his face to look at Jessica .There was this unbearable silence growing between them and I wanted to go break it so badly but I just stood there and took the video ‘Ohh if I didn't mention it before then let me tell you now that I have been recording the whole scene since the beginning just to show it to Sophia and tell her that I was the reason for them to get together IF they will ’ .

Then after which seemed like forever Jessica spoke up . “ uh Alex can you look at me ” Jessica asked and Alex looked up but not into her eyes . “ Can I know for how long you had feelings for me ? ” Jessica asked.  “ I--I don't know ” Alex said. “ c'mon Alex remember ” Jessica pressed  . “ I guess long before you asked me who I liked” Alex said . I didn't catch the scene infront of me until I saw Jessica tiptoed and kissed Alex which surely left him amazed .

And there it was , I was a successful wingman .

After that ‘thing’ happened between Alex and Jessica the rest of the adventure went kind of weird for me . Looking at them walking so close and as they kept cuddling for the rest of the trip , I Swear I wasn't able think about anyone else but Sophia and I just wanted to see her so badly and the time came when Jessica said those magical words “ guys let's get back it's almost time” . And these words made my day .
