Consoling him

Sophia's POV

I was doing some work when i saw Kevin with Emily and James , and i exactly knew what was going to happen if he will stay there for one more second  . So i went to them and brought him with me.  I took him to the beach.  “ Sit down ” i said. “ Why did you bri-” he was about to say something but i stopped him and pulled him down to sit with me.  “ So now tell me why did you bring me here ” he asked.

“ Well i thought that you were gonna explode on them so..” i said. “ Sophia you don't know what happened , so you won't understand how i am feel right now , the feeling of betrayal and the feeling of being left behind ,you won't understand any of this so don't pretend like you know everything ” he shouted at me.

“ well i know you are in a very bad mood but i didn't expect you to shout at me with so much rage as if i am the one at fault ” i shouted back at him . “ Well then why did you bring me here when you don't wanna listen to me , you know what , i am upset about something you don't even know but you are behaving like you already know it ..do you even know what exactly happened to me and my mood ? ” he asked with anger all over his face .

“ I know Kevin ! I know very well , i also saw them kissing eachother ” i said. “ What ? ” he said and i can say that he was shocked . “ when did you see ? ” he asked.  “ well my mood was dull so i decided to take a detour and when i was going back to the camp i saw them kissing and i also saw you watching them and then running away ,i thought to follow you but then i decided not to , because you needed sometime alone ” i said and he was listening to me as if i was telling a story . “ So why didn't you tell this to me when we met near the cliff?” he asked .

“ I thought talking about it may make you feel bad and maybe even awkward ” i said. “ why would i feel awkward infront of you ” he said.“ I don't know dude i just felt that way ” i said. “ now no more arguments About it…alright ? …see Kevin you need to move on if the person you love doesn't love you back ,it was good right that you got to know about it before you confessed your feelings to her ” i said. “ Yeah you are right”he said. “ so now what are we going to do? ” he asked. “ Hmm.... let's chase ” i said. “ Chase who ?” he asked . “ each other who else do we chase here ? ” i said. Then I started running and he was chasing me and then I chased him . After chasing each other for a while we felt tired and threw ourselves on the soft sand .

“ Sophia you really know how to calm people ” kevin said. “you think ….my parents always say that I am a moody kid ” I said to see his reaction . “ Oh wow that's absolutely ……right” he said and started laughing.  “oh c'mon you are being mean now ” I said . “ alright I am sorry about that and thanks to you now I feel a lot better than before ” he said. “ well what a friends for ? ” I said. “hmm ….yeah” he replied. While we were relaxing on the sand I heard Kevin's stomach growling loudly .

“ seems like little kevin is hungry …hmm ?” I teased him while ruffling his hair .  “ I am not ” he replied with a don't tease me please face. I had some chocolates with me so I gave it to him . “ Alright have these ” I gave him the chocolates . “ Wow you carry everything with you ? ” he asked. “ No I don't , I just brought it with me in case I feel to have something sweet ” I said. “ wow our Sophia is always two steps a head ” he said and my bloody heart started beating fast . “ Hey you ok ? ” kevin asked. “ yes I am , why did you ask? ” I asked. “ well your heart started beating faster all of a sudden  ” he said. “ i***t it been beating faster from a long time you just realised now ? ” I said covering my shy expression with a sarcastic one . 

“oh was it ? Seem like I was too hungry to realise it earlier” he said. “ yeah of course little kevin is always hungry isn't he ? ” I started teasing him again . “ oh c'mon don't call me that ” he said. “ don't call you what ” I asked. “ that !!” he said. “ what!!” I asked . “ don't call me little ” he said. “ well I never called you little , I called you little kevin there is a lot of difference ” I said controlling my laughter . “ yeah that's it , don't call me little kevin ” he said. “ why ? You don't like it ” I asked making a sad face . “ No.. I mean I don't hate it but it sounds like you are talking to a small child ” he said with a confused and cute face. “ aww… kevin now you really look like a small child ” I said and pinched his cheeks.

“ I am not ” he said and turned away . “ oh c'mon little kevin don't be shy ” I said laughing . “ I …. I'm not !” he said. “ alright little kevin understood ” I said. “ Sophia can't you stop it why do you always tease me ” he asked. “ well because the expression you make when you get teased are cute ” I said . “ uh ….. I …. Ok but don't call me that in front of everyone ok ? ” he said while his face went all red . “ hey why is your face red ” I asked. “ it's …it's nothing ” he said. “ fine I am gonna rest for awhile ” I said closing my eyes . “ me too ” he replied .

Kevin's POV

Sophia kept teasing me until my face went all red and then she went to sleep like nothing happened . I was glad that she can't hear my heart beating this fast . I turned around and faced her , she was sleeping like careless kid. The cool Breeze touching her face and making her hair fall on her face and then she feeling irritated because of those hair on her face , by looking at all these I started feeling at ease . Because she was sleeping , everything around me was very quiet . As it was too quiet and peaceful I also fell asleep .

“ Hey Kevin how long are you planning on to sleep here” I heard Sophia's voice . “ hey c'mon man wake up its already dawn we need to be in the camp before anyone wakes up , wake up !!” Sophia hit me hard and I was awake. “ Ouch ! Was it necessary for you to hit me so hard ” I said. “ little kevin you weren't waking up so I had to , now get up we need to run to the camp ” she said. “ ok but remember you are not gonna call me little kevin infront of everyone one ” I said begging her . “ ok little kevin ” she said petting my head . “ hey don't do that ” I push her hand off . “ ok fine now let's go ” she started walking fast . “ hey wait up ” I ran towards her .     “ hey you can't be that slow , if you don't remember then let me tell you that you are vamp--” she fell on the ground suddenly .

“ Hey Sophia , hey … you ok ” I asked trying to wake her up . “ Yeah I am fine , It maybe because I didn't have anything yesterday ” she replied. “are you kidding me, you didn't have anything yesterday and you gave me all the food you had left with ” I said with anger . “ oh c'mon I can handle myself and you were hungry back then ” she said while trying to get up . “ oh don't be ridiculous get on my back ” I said. “hey it's not necessa-- wow why am i so dizzy ” she was gonna fall again. “ now get on my back or else I am gonna lift you in bridal style ” I said.

“ fine I am getting on you back ” she said and got on my back .“ even when  you are feeling dizzy you still have nerves to argue don't you ” I asked. “ well sometime arguing Is good you know ” she said with a tired voice .

“ yeah but that sometimes is not when your health is on risk ” I shouted at her . “ ok fine I understand ” she said and rested her head on my shoulder and my heart skipped a beat . “ ok then sleep on me until we get back ” I said. “ hmm ” she replied.

After getting back to the camp ,I dropped her into her tent and went to bring her something to eat . ‘this girl can keep caring about everyone except herself ’ I thought to myself . I found some bread and milk and brought it for her .“ hey Sophia wake up and have these ” I tried Waking her up but she was sleeping and didn't wake up so I left the food there and a note “ don't forget to eat after you wake up and meet me after you have it ” I wrote and went back to my tent . I wasn't tired , I wasn't sleepy , the only thing going on was , is Sophia ok . I kept thinking About her for so long and then I realised that I was only thinking about her . ‘ c'mon kevin take your mind off her ’ I told myself . But I was not able to stop thinking about her and that is when I realised that I madly in love with her. My face started heating up ,my heart started beating and I started feeling a different kind of discomfort. I was still in shock that I fell in love with a person I considered to never even talk when I first met her. It was nearly 7 o'clock and I ran out of my tent to see how Sophia was .

“Hey Sophia you in the tent ?” I shouted standing outside her tent . “ hey kevin you looking for Sophia ? ” Jessica came from behind me . “ yeah I wanted to talk to her ” I said. “ well she is freshing up and will be here soon , I guess you didn't fresh up yet , you better get freshed up ” Jessica said. “ uh well you are right , I will be going then , bye see you later ” I said and left asap.

I wanted to see her so bad that I wasn't able to control myself I don't know what Jessica might think . “oh god why am I getting so obsessed with her , allow me think about anything which is not related to her ” I spoke to myself .

I went to get freshed up and then went near the breakfast place. I saw her sitting with all her Friends there , Maybe I am not the only one she is close with . Everyone was throwing there hands on her even Alex and Zac and that made me really mad . I kept staring at her ‘s**t she caught me staring ’ I looked away in other direction.  “ hey kevin come over here ” Sophia called me . “ oh hii , ok I'm coming ” I said and went to her holding my breakfast in my hands .
