A new friendship

Kevin's POV

Today was the first day of class after the vacation . I came to class late As usual . I wanted to sit beside Emily this year but when I entered the class I found her sitting with James . I went towards the last bench which was empty and sat there . I didn't like interacting with people so I prefer last bench where no one can disturb me. 

HM entered the classroom with a new student and it was none other than the girl who saved Emily . “Hi guys I am your new classmate my name is Sophia Johnson” she said. And then HM asked her to sit beside me …I can't believe beside me ,I can't tolerate of someone talk to me just for second and now she will be sitting beside me the whole year ,I am literally gonna die . “ Hi I am Sophia ” she said. I didn't wanted to talk so I just said “ I know ” and ignored her ,and she also ignored me as if I was no one and it was a relief .

HM announced about the trip and asked us to leave for our physical training class ,and then the class headed towards the PT room.  Jayden asked us to split into clans and so we all splitted up except Sophia who was standing there all confused . “ Excuse me , why are you standing there all confused ” Jayden asked her  . “ Well because I am confused ” she said . “ Are you a new student ? ” Jayden asked . “ Yup ” she replied . “ Ok …so these are three different clans in our school vampire , werewolf ,and human ,we split them into different groups while physical training so that we can train them easily by understanding their physique ” Jayden explained  . She still seemed confused. Emily told me about her that she is a vampire so I told Jayden that she was from our clan and so she did and joined our clan but she didn't even try to find and thank me.

Jayden taught us the basics and asked us to leave.

Sophia's POV

After the PT class we had a free class and so we decided to go and play something . We went to the basketball court and start playing . “ You are really nice Sophia ” Alex said.  “ thanks ” I said.  “ guys let's bet ” Jessica said.  “ bet?  what bet ? ” everyone asked. “ we all will split into two team and the team which will lose needs to buy the snacks and drinks for today …. accepted ? ” Jessica said.  “ alright I don't have a problem” I said. “ Ok let's play ” everyone said except Kevin . “ Kevin won't you play with us ” Emily asked.

“ I don't feel like playing” he said . “ I guess he is busy protecting his handkerchief ” James said. “ what kerchief ” everyone asked .“ he has a kerchief and it seems very close to his heart and he carries it everywhere and the surprising fact is that , it's a ladies kerchief ” James said. “ Woohoo Kevin ” everyone started teasing him . “ guys please stop , it's not like what you think it is ” Kevin said . “ then what is it Kevin ” Jessica teased. “ I think you should play the game if you don't want them to keep this up ” I said. “ ugh .. alright I will play ” Kevin said annoyingly .

We then started our game . we got divided into two teams. Team 1 had Jessica , Alex, James and Emily . Team 2 had Sienna , me , Zac and Kevin . We completed the game and it was a tie . “ Ok now this is bad ” Jessica said.  “ Why ” I asked. “ because now no one will buy us snacks and drinks ” Jessica said. “ it's so simple , I know the exact person who will buy them ” Alex said and with that Everyone started staring Kevin.  “ No …No!! Don't look at me ” Kevin frowned . “ Ok Kevin them show us your hidden kerchief ” Zac smirked . “ don't asked Zac just pull it out from his pocket ” Alex said.  “ c'mon Kevin give me the kerchief ” Zac teased . “ Ok fine I will buy them for you all ..don't come near my pockets ” Kevin said annoyingly . “ That's much better ” Jessica said.

“ But I can't bring all of it by myself ..I need someone to come with me ” kevin said. everyone started ignoring as if they didn't even listen . “ Ok fine I will go ” I said.   “Sophia you're the best ” Alex said. “ well I am ” I said.

“ Ok then Kevin shall we go ” I asked . “ yeah sure ” Kevin said. We kept walking to the cafeteria , I didn't know how to start the conversation with him so I kept silent . “ So … what do you want to buy ” Kevin asked. “well anything is fine ” I said.  “ Ok ” he said. “ it seems like you don't like talking much ” I asked. “ I think you too don't like talking much ” Kevin said . “ well yeah I don't like talking much , I was never around people much .. I was a loner always ” I said smiling awkwardly . “ well I am the same type ” he said. “  I got the hunch when I saw you the first time ” I said . “ really ” he asked . “ so what's the story about that kerchief ” I asked just simply ,even if he doesn't respond it doesn't matter . “ well actually someone tied it on my wounds when I was hurt but I never got a chance to thank that person .. I just keep it with me so I can give it back to that person if we meet one day ” he said. I was a little surprised that he didn't even hesitate before telling it to me . “ Oh so you wanna meet that girl again ” I smirked at him . “ how…how do you know it's a girl ” he asked.  “well James told earlier right ” I said. “ oh yeah that guy I don't like him ” he said frowning . “ but why ” I asked . “ I don't know but I just don't like him ” he said.

“ whenever you meet that mystery girl don't forget to tell me ” I said. “ Hey !! Can you not stop teasing me ” he said. “ well I was not teasing but if you think I was then it's alright ” I said laughing at him . “ Kevin's mystery girl .. Kevin's mystery girl  ” I kept teasing. “ hey just stop or I will kill you ” he kept shouting .

We bought the snacks and drinks . “ wow were you bringing them  or making them ” Jessica said. They then took the snacks and start eating . I never thought that I would have a good time but I had one Today with these people and for the first time I felt really happy being around people .
