Aiden looked into the face of his gorgeous wife, smiling. He was so happy to be married to the love of his life. Sasha had been his nurse when he broke his foot mountain climbing with his friends last year. He felt an instant attraction to her, but he still had Gabriella clinging onto him.
Aiden never loved Gabriella; she was a spoiled, whiny, selfish brat. He only stayed with her because his mother liked her. She was the one who had gotten the two together, and every day he wished even more he had never met the girl.
Sasha, though, sparked his interest the moment he looked into her sparkling blue eyes with her golden hair glistening under the fluorescent lights. He wanted to ask her out when he was discharged from the hospital, but Gabriella came in pawing all over him and making it known to everyone that Aiden belonged to her.
The day that Gabriella told Aiden about the art scholarship and the opportunity to travel to Europe, that gave him his chance to break ties with her. He wished her well but told her that he had no desire to travel abroad or wait for her to get her degree in France, so he broke up with her.
Finally, he was free of the octopus named Gabriella. He thought he had cut all ties with her…until she showed up, claiming to be pregnant with his child the night before he was to marry Sasha. She lied to him and said she was on birth control. Evidently that was not true.
Fortunately, Aiden was able to convince Sasha to continue with their wedding, and to trust him.
Aiden knew they would be okay. He adored Sasha and she loved him. If Gabriella’s baby were his, they would love him and coparent him with her. He knew that their relationship was strong enough to endure the added stress.
“You have to let me up. I have to pee,” Sasha told Aiden, trying to push him off of her.
“Oh yeah? Well, it would probably not be good if I tickled you then, would it?” Aiden said, tickling her sides.
“Aiden stop! You’re gonna make me pee my pants!” She pleaded. He let her up but playfully tried to hold her back.
“I mean it, I’m gonna pee my pants!” Sasha said, smacking at him. Finally, she escaped his grasp and ran to the bathroom.
The two brushed their teeth side by side, sharing the sink. Aiden plopped Sasha up on the sink to kiss her, moving down her neck with tender kisses.
“That’s enough, Mister. We need to get going, your mom will be waiting for us,” Sasha told Aiden.
