Chapter Two

The wedding was a simple affair at Sasha’s church. She wore a simple white A- line white satin dress with lace sleeves and scooped neckline and an asymmetrical hemline skirt.

Sasha’s wavy golden locks hung loosely, and her sapphire blue eyes shone brightly as she met Aiden at the altar.

He smiled at her, looking handsome in his black and white tuxedo. His red hair and freckles gave him a boyish charm that Sasha loved. His blue eyes were calming like the lake they often boated on.

The couple joined hands and smiled at each other, so very much in love.

They said their vows and kissed as the minister introduced them as husband and wife. Zandra cried woefully for everyone to hear, but the couple ignored her rudeness.

Zandra had come to Sasha’s dressing room before the wedding and offered her money to cancel the wedding, trying to give her a guilt trip about the baby.

Sasha’s mother ran Zandra out, threatening to tell Aiden what she had done if she did not leave her daughter alone.

Zandra left, but not before warning Sasha by saying, “then, I will make your life a living hell. I will be your worst nightmare.”

Barbara ran after the woman, threatening to pull every hair in her head out if she caused a scene at the wedding.

Everyone was waiting with bated breath, fearing that Gabriella would show up to cause trouble. Fortunately, she was home, content that she had successfully managed to prevent the wedding from happening. She did not know that it was back on and happening that very moment.

Sasha danced with her husband and then her father and was having a joyful time.

Meanwhile, Gabriella’s housekeeper secretly called her, letting her know about the wedding. She had gone with Zandra’s housekeeper as wedding guests.

Gabriella was fuming. She told Melissa to find out where they were going for their honeymoon. She would try to prevent them from being together as man and wife.

Gabriella told Melissa that she would think of something, and she would need her help executing the plan. It would not be good for her if Sasha really did get pregnant right away.
