The moment our relationship began, my life started falling apart. I never thought that the happiness and love we shared with each other would be so fleeting. It had not even been three days yet. I didn’t know if I should be grateful that I was able to feel it whole before it slipped away from my fingers, or if that would only make me regret things more.
My thoughts were haywired. My vision was clouded with tears pooling inside my eyes. Nang punong-puno na ang aking mga mata ay isa-isa at sunod-sunod ang pagpatak ng mga luha. Hindi ‘yon tumigil hanggang sa ubos na ubos na ako. Nanginginig ang aking mga labi at mga kamay habang umiiling.
“No…” I whispered to myself in disbelief, choking back my tears. “H-hindi ‘to nangyayari… Hindi…”
