Victor stood there, astonished by what he had just heard. He didn't know all of Ciel's friends, especially not the one Matt was talking about, because she wasn't in the videos of the Louvre or the files they got. But Victor knew the woman Matt was talking about was a witch too, like Ciel, and looked pretty much her same age. V didn't know much about Matt's personal life. He felt identified with him because it was pretty clear for him that his partner was as strongly compromised with his job as he was. So hearing words like "wife" come from Matt was very surprising, to say the least. Victor couldn't allow getting discovered, so he quickly put a hand on Matt's shoulder and talked.
