"Aray!" I exclaimed.

I tried to get my ass up after letting my body fall from that stupid goddamn window just to escape.

As I've started moving my legs towards the parking lot, I heard a thunder awestriking noise from the sky three times, it made me feel more terrified! I forced myself to run while sweating and shaking.

Nang makarating ako kong nasasaan yong sasakyan ni Axel, sinubukan kong buksan yong sasakyan niya para sakaling doon ako mag tatago.

"Putangina, naka lock!" I said while still trying to open.

I'm so horrified right now, to the point I couldn't think straight!

"Vera?!"

Napatigil ako sa ginagawa ko nang marinig ko yong pangalan ko. I turned around and my jaw dropped within a second when I saw man whose standing infront of me.

"L-liam?! Anong ginagawa mo rito?!"

"Anong ginagawa mo rito?!

We both said at the same time.

I shook my head while gesturing my hands. "That doesn't matter now! Please help me, natatakot ako! M-may..."

He grabbed my wrist at halos makaladlad ako sa bilis ng pag takbo namin. I noticed he has scars on his knuckles.

"Tago, bilis!" taranta niyang nang makarating kami sa madilim na lugar.

"Ito na!" I whispired with annoyance.

I dont't understand anything... ano nangyayari?! Bakit bigla nagkaroon ng gulo?! Nasaan na si Zach?! At... anong ginagawa rito ni Liam? May kinalaman kaya siya rito?! s**t. Baka pataying ako nito. I can't trust anyone right now.

"May kinalaman ka ba rito, Liam?" hingal kong tanong. I don't why I asked him although I know it's risky. I can literally die anytime right now.

He looked at me while his brows are frowning. "What? What do you mean?"

I didn't respond on his question; it's clearly obvious that he's acting dumb! But whatever. I'm not risking again.

But, f**k! Where's Zach?!

Kinuha ko yong cellphone ko sa bulsa ko at dinial ko yong number niya.

It was only ringing... no response.

I dialed his number again, and this time, I can't reach it anymore.

Clearly means he's still alive! He's probably hiding right now.

To: Zachary Axel

I'm safe now. let's meet at our mansion. don't get killed

I turned off my phone at napansin kong Liam was taking a glance on me.

"You were... with him?" he asked while still whispering.

I nodded as I've pursed my lips.

Other person's POV:

"That's bullshit! She's in danger?! Bakit niyo hinayaan?!" inis kong tanong sa mga lalaking nasa harapan ko ngayon.

I pulled my hair out of frustration, at inis kong binagsak yong AK47 ko sa lamesa.

"You know that I'm not able to show up there because I have someone to f*****g deal with! I-isa lang naman ang inuutos ko sainyo, protect her no matter what! Hindi naman mahirap 'yon!" I yelled.

"P-pero may kasama po siyang lalaki,"

"Sino?!"

"Isa sa mga katauhan ni Bill,"

I couldn't speak when heard the name. If only I wasn't forced to protect someone... I wouldn't do it. My bloodline will be always the one who I will protect until the last bullet will shot me for my last breath.

I grabbed my AK47 as well as my revolver for emergency purposes. Lumabas ako at pinaandar ko yong Kawasaki H2r ko.

I went to the restaurant where the incident happened, and all I can see now those people who didn't got shot. There were tons of police's cars at mga ambulansya.

Some of them were injured, traumatized, and deceased.

I couldn't find Faizah even the guy they were talking about. Darn it... maybe they got escaped!

"What the f**k are you doing here?"

I almost lose my grip after hearing someone. I turned around with no hesitation and I saw a masculined tall guy.

"Do I know you?" I raised a brow.

He smirked while I'm hearing cracking noise from his Mini Uzi gun.

He aimed the bullet on my forehead and that made me smirked. You're giving me so much excitement and goosebumps. You're brave.

"I hate to break it to you, but you're a damn coward." I teased.

He laughed as he raised his gun from the sky because of dying laughter.

I moved within a second. I grabbed my revolver to avoid a huge noise. As I've touched my revolver from my gun holster on my waist-

I grabbed his weak Mini Uzi gun to my chest, I bumped my revolver on his mouth. "Fire this gun on my chest, and this is going to be your last laughter in the world." I said while whispering while watching him not being able to move and laugh.

I saw his left hand behind his back and I pulled the trigger of my revolver.

1...2...3...

A powerful noise appeared as I've snickered the bullet into his flesh two times and that made his body fell on the grass, loosing his breath.

I blew the barrel of my gun when I saw a few smokes when I fired the bullets inside his mouth, making his blood dripped on the ground, including my flawless face.

"You're too weak to be in this organization." I said before I start the engine.

Faizah's POV:

Sinamahan ako ni Liam pauwi sa bahay ni Mama at Aria dahil masyado raw delikado kung pupunta ako magisa. Matutulog muna ako ngayong gabi roon dahil may kakaiba akong pakiramdam doon sa mansion.

"Mama? Aria?" mahina kong tawag.

"Ate?!" bungad ni Aria.

Agad niya akong inakap kaya inakap ko siya pabalik. "Nasaan si Mama?"

"Tulog na siya, e. Rito ka ba matutulog?! Miss na kita!"

I chuckled. "Oo, ngayong gabi lang,"

Pumasok siya agad sa loob ng kwarto para daw ipaghanda ako ng hihigaan ko. I took a glance on Liam, and I saw him leaning at the door while his arms are crossed.

"Dito kana kaya matulog? It's not safe out there." bulong ko.

"Yeah. It's getting late na rin,"

Tinulungan ko siyang mag ayos na mahihigaan niya sa sofa. At nang matapos kami, I went straight to the bathroom. I washed my face at nag palit ako ng damit ni Aria.

Nang matapos ako, dumiretso ako sa higaan at humiga na. Shit... hindi ako makatulog. I kept thinking about Zach. Kumusta na kaya siya?

I watched the ceiling for hours but I still can't sleep. Bumangon ako at tinignan ko sila kung mga tulog na ba silang lahat.

They are all sleeping, I even can hear them snoring. Tumayo ako para tignan kong tulog na rin ba si Liam.

I noticed that he's sleeping well, he looked tired too.

I'm still wondering why he is involved about the incident earlier.

Nag halungkat ako ng damit sa cabinet ni Aria, and I wore her black lingerie, jeans, and her white hoodie. I also wore her cap and a black mask.

I grabbed the pocket knife and a pepper spray where I used to hide for my self-defense. I sneakily opened the door.

Bumungad sakin ang malakas na malamig na hangin nang makalabas ako. I ran as fast as I could, ngunit may biglang bumungad sakin na motor kaya nasilaw ako dahil sa ilaw. Hindi ko makilala yong nag d-drive pero alam kong papunta siya sakin.

I ran on different directions but I still can hear the motorcycle's coming towards me.

"s**t!" nag sisimula na akong hingalin kaya kinuha ko yong pocket knife ko sa bulsa ng hoodie ni Aria.

I waited until the motorcycle gets closer to me at unti-unti kong nakilala kung sino yong nag mamaneho.

"Scarlett?!" sigaw ko.

She stopped the engine on her motorcycle as she walked towards me. "Sumama ka sakin, ngayon na." she grabbed my arm.

What?! Why would I do that?!

I don't even trust her!

"Faizah, let's go!"

She was trying to pull me but I kept on resisting. "Bakit ako sasama sa'yo? I don't trust you!" my pocket knife is on my hand, hiding on my palm.

"There's no time to prove that you can trust me, just f*****g go with me if you still want to live!" she said with madness.

I aggresively grabbed her left arm as I turned her around to make her close to me. I choked her with my right arm at linabas ko yong pocket knife ko. I aimed it on her side neck, making her stop from moving.

"Bullshit!" she exclaimed.

"If I feel any movements from your body, you're going to die right now." I uncounciously said.

I couldn't describe this feeling right now... but I want to be violent right now. I want to kill this b***h with my own hands.

"f**k! Okay, I won't!"

I strongly pushed her to get away from my body and that made her lose her balance. And yet, she still managed to use her hands not to fall fully.

She turned around, aiming now her gun on my head. "Let's see if who will die first right now, Faizah."

She pulled the trigger while still watching her with no emotions. I'm not afraid to die... but if this is the right time, I want to know if Zach is safe right now.

"I can shot you right now, Faizah. I told you that. I will not hesi-"

"Then kill me!" I shouted.

I saw how she flinched. She even almost drop her goddamn gun. "You don't terrify me anymore, Scarlett. Stop threatening me with those words, do it with actions."

I couldn't control myself anymore...

I don't even know where these words came from.

I don't know how I had the guts to say these.

In the end, I found myself riding at the motorcycle with her. She said she will take me to her new hideouts, since the place where we first met isn't safe.

When we arrived, I saw bunch of armed men, gambling, and drinking.

But there's this three person on the other table. They were screaming out loud, having fun.

"Everyone!"

All of them went quiet kaya napatingin sila sa gawi namin ni Scarlett.

"This is Faizah Vera." she introduced.

The girl from the other table walked towards me and she gave me a wide smile. She's tall, skinny, long hair with bangs, and... stunning.

The other person also walked towards me. She's have the same height as me. She's chubby, short hair and blonde haired girl. She also looks fabulous.

"Steve, hey! Come here." Scarlett called.

He walked towards us. He introduced himself as well as the two girls who approached me while ago.

"An enemy?! Ally?! Or... a traitor?!" the other girl laughed hysterically.

"You're such a f*****g psycho, Ella!" inis na sabi nong isang babae.

"I'm not like you, Eve. I was just making sure Scarlett didn't bring a traitor here. I'm sick of it," she cleared.

"Yeah." Steve agreed as he light up his cigarette.

They all looked at me, and that made me stepped backwards. I've never felt so intimidated... plus they all look scary! Pakiramdam ko babarilin nila ako kahit anong oras.

"Come with us, I know where Zachary is." sabi ni Scarlett nang ikasa niya ang baril.

Napaawang ang labi ko nang marinig ko 'yong sinabi niya. Alam niya?! May kinalaman din kaya siya sa incident na nangyari sa restaurant na kinainan namin?

Sabay-sabay kaming pumasok sa sasakyan na naka parada sa labas kong saan ako dinala ni Scarlett.

Tahimik lang nag ma-maneho si Scarlett habang 'yong mga kasamahan niya ay nag uusap habang kinakasa nila 'yong mga baril na dala nila.

"Ugh, I'm so excited seeing those flesh come out inside them as I kill those bitches!"

"Don't be a psycho... she might get freaked out," I noticed Eve pointed at me, and that made them looked at me.

"That's okay..." she smiled. "She will get used to it, right?" ibinalik niya ang tingin niya sakin.

Napaawang ang labi ko, sabay ngumiti nang pilit. "Y-yeah,"

Maya't maya, tumigil ang kotse sa isang madilim na lugar. Sabay silang lumabas ng kotse kaya lumabas din ako.

Sumalubong sakin ang malakas na hangin nang mabuksan ko ang pinto ng kotse. They were all busy staring at the abondoned white house.

"That's where your man is." Scarlett pointed the house using her lips.

Tinitigan ko nang matagal 'yong bahay at nakaramdam ako ng kaba. Narinig na nag kasa ng baril sila nang mag sabi si Scarlett na kumuha na ng mga baril dahil papasukin namin 'yong bahay; kaya mas lalo akong kinabahan.

Inabutan ako ni Ella ng pistol kaya nginitian ko siya. I took a deep breath as we started walking sneakily.

"We can't stick together, we should split up. Eve, sumama ka kay Steve. Ella, take care of Faizah please..."

"Masusunod!" sabay-sabay nilang sabi.

Mag lalakad na sana ulit si Scarlett nang mag salita ako. "Paano ka, Scarlett? Saan ka?" tanong ko.

"Don't worry about me. I will search your man there," she started walking away as she left with a smile.

Nakaalis na rin sila Eve at Steve. Ella grabbed my wrist as we started walking fast, trying not to make any noise.

As we get closer, I started hearing some noise. I could hear some laughter with multiple armored men.

Shit... where are you?

"Let the game begin." Ella whispered. She spit the bubble gum she was chewing as she aimed the sniper from the window.

Ella's sniper sounded just like a cannon, making me cover my ears. A ricocheting bullet automatically echoed in the valley as she fired her sniper, shooting the armored men who was laughing earlier endlessly.

"Basic, pre!" she said while smirking while still looking at the scope of her sniper.

Napaka bilis lang ng pangyayari. Parang kanina lang namamaril si Ella, tapos ngayon nasa loob na kami, making sure if they are still alive.

Good thing, all of them are not breathing anymore.

"Ella, Faizah! Kumusta?!" hingal na tanong ni Eve.

"We're fine, of course... as you can see naman. How about you guys?"

"We shot them all. Napansin niyo ba si Scarlett?"

Ella and I shrugged. Umakyat kami sa taas para hanapin si Scarlett at si Zach. Dahan-dahan kaming nag lalakad habang namin isa-isa pinagbubuksan yong mga pinto kong may mga tao pa.

May isang kwarto na naka agaw sa atensyon ko kaya binuksan ko ito. May biglang humila sa braso ko sa madilim na kwarto, at nang maipasok ako sa loob, nakaramdam ako ng isang suntok sa tiyan ko, making me weak.

He closed the door slowly while I was laying at the floor.

He looked at me habang ako hirap na hirap sa pag-tayo. He grabbed my hair as he gave me a death glare. Ang tanging ilaw sa kwarto ay yong ilaw sa labas. Hindi ko siya masyadong makilala, but I could see his eyes, wanting to kill me.

"Nasaan si Faizah?!" sigaw sa labas.

Ibinaling ng lalaki 'yong tingin niya sa pintuan.

I immediately moved fast. As I grabbed my pistol from my pocket, I grabbed his collar at agad ko siyang hinead bang nang mag laban siya.

Siya naman ang nakahiga sa sahig kaya pinagsisipa ko nang maraming beses on his sensitive part. I heard him groaned.

"Where's Zach?!" kinasa ko 'yong baril ko at itinutok sakaniya.

He chuckled. "Bakit ko sasabihin sa'yo?"

"Hawak ko ang buhay mo... I will let you go kung sasabihin mo sakin,"

Tumawa lang siya nang tumawa kaya nakaramdam ako ng pag pantig sa tenga ko. I aimed my gun on his knees.

*BANG!*

"Fuuuck! Putangina!" he screamed.

"Tell me, asshole!" I aimed my gun on his head.

"S-sa... basement! Tangina... naroon siya naka tali. May mga camera roon, kaya kahit makuha niyo siya, mamamatay pa rin ka-"

*BANG!*

"I only asked where he is, bastard."

I left the room, leaving him loosing his breath as his blood flows. Pagkalabas ko ng kwarto, lumaki ang mata ko nang bumungad silang lahat sakin.

"That was f*****g badass, Faizah! We heard everything!" sabi ni Ella.

Nginitian ko lang sila. Naglakad kami papuntang basement. "I would like to have a gun fight with you." she took a glance on me while smirking.

We finally arrived outside the basement. It was dark and quiet. Naka handa ang mga baril namin baka sakaling may mga natitira pang buhay.

Sinipa ni Scarlett 'yong pintuan at nang makapasok kami, nakarinig kami ng kalansing.

"Zach?!" sigaw ko.

Sinaway ako bigla ni Scarlett kaya napatahimik ako. Right... it's not safe to make any noise right now. Who knows if that was Zach.

We went downstairs at nag bukas bigla ang mga ilaw.

*BANG!*

Shit!

Agad akong napayuko without looking who tried to shot towards us.

*BANG!*

"Faizah is here, fucker! Stop shooting!"

Idinalat ko 'yong mata ko nang marinig ko 'yong sinabi ni Scarlett. Dahan-dahan akong tumayo at natanaw ko si Zach.

I was stunned for a second as well as him.

"Z-zach?!"

I ran towards him, and when I got closer to him, I hugged him very tight.

"You're alive!" tuwang-tuwa kong sabi while my eyes are closed.

"Why are you here? Are you hurt?" He asked while caressing, whispering.

I looked into his eyes. "That doesn't matter now... Moon is probably looking for us already,"

He nodded. I held his hand at kinaladkad ko siya papalabas ng abandonadong bahay. Nang makasakay kami ng kotse ni Scarlett, tahimik kaming lahat.

"Drop us here now." he commanded.

"It's not safe... we can drop you guys at your house," seryosong sagot ni Scarlett habang nag mamaneho.

"All of you can't be trusted, drop us here now before I shoot you right now," may halong inis na sagot ni Zach kay Scarlett.

Siniko ko siya kaya napansin kong napailing siya.

"Fye, you know what you freaking went through earlier... you know it's not safe out there-"

Huminga ako nang malalim. "I think it's better if you will drop us here, Scarlett,"

I took a glance on Ella, and she was smiling widely while chewing here gum.

"Majority wins! Woo!" Ella clapped while still smiling.

Inis na prineno ni Scarlett 'yong sasakyan kaya muntik na kaming masubsob lahat. Mag sasalita na sana si Zach pero bigla ko siyang kinurot sa tagiliran kaya naman napatingin siya sakin, looking madly confused.

Nang ibaba kami sa tapat ng Starbucks, napagpasyahan ni Zach na tumambay muna kami saglit.

We didn't wait for long since there are only a few customers. We sat down sa table namin and we drank our coffee peacefully.

"You... got bruises." I carefully said.

He nodded after he took a sip on his coffee. "How the f**k did you get there, Vera? Alam mo bang halos nasa kalahati nalang 'yong buhay mo kanina?" may halong inis at pagaalala niyang sabi.

"Scarlett told me she knows where you are that time; obviously I had to go with her inorder to save you, Zach,"

He held his nose bridge. "And you f*****g trust that woman? Do you even know her? You don't even know what her last name is,"

Oo nga 'no... Scarlett lang ang alam ko, pero ang apelyido niya hindi ko alam, pati na rin 'yong mga kasamahan niya kanina.

"Let's go. It's already late." he grabbed his coat at sumunod ako sakaniya.

Pagkalabas namin, may kotse sa harapan namin at nag bukas yong bintana ng kotse.

"Faizah? Ikaw nanaman? Ayos ah! Hulaan ko, para kang nasa action movie kanina 'no?!" pang bu-bungad niya.

Shet, oo nga 'no! Parang dati lang pinapanood ko lang 'yon sa mga movies tapos ngayon nae-exprience ko na!

Pumasok na kami sa loob ng kotse habang kami nag uusap ni Sebastian at si Zach, tahimik na naka upo.

"May nabaril kana rin ba, Sebastian? 'Yong mga kasama ko kanina may mga baril sila, e. Buti nga hindi ako-"

"Huh?!" napalakas 'yong boses ni Sebastian kaya biglang sinipa ni Zach 'yong seat ni Sebastian.

"Sorry, boss- ay ano, pre! Hindi, ah. Ikaw? May nabaril kana ba?"

I took a glance on Zach and he raised a bow. I pursed my lips at umiling ako. "No... never," I forced my smile.

Nang makarating kami sa mansion, we peacefully had dinner and played with Moon. We watched a movie at nang matapos, pumunta na ako sa kwarto ko pati na rin si Zach.

Nang humiga ako, I stared at the ceiling for long as I switch positions pero hindi parin ako dinadalaw ng antok.

I couldn't get over about what happened earlier. Sobrang bilis ng pangyayari... hanggang ngayon hindi ako maka get over. Pero sila halatang sanay na sanay na sila.

Biglang tumunog yong cellphone ko kaya napabangon ako. Someone is calling.

Unknown calling...

I answered the call without hesitation.

"Hello?"

"Faizah... Vera, right?"

Nag salubong bigla yong kilay ko. "Yes, this is she. Who is this?"

"Wow, you're alive. Now I have the oppurtunity to f*****g shot your mouth," the unknown caller said while laughing.

"H-huh? Sino ka? Scarlett, ikaw ba 'to?!"

"Scarlett? That b***h? No!"

"Ella, this isn't a joke!"

"Ella? That psychotic b***h? Yikes! I would ne-"

"Aria, hindi na ako nakikipag biruan, ha! Umayos ka-"

"Aw! Faizah being a meany, meany, sister!" may halong pang aasar niyang sabi. "But, no. Aria Vera? I don't think she can betray her own beloved sister."

Ibababa ko na dapat yong tawag nang mag salita ulit siya sa kabilang linya.

"Remember... I know who you are more than you know yourself. I know where you are now. I... can sneak in into your window and shot you. But of course... not now. I want to see you get curious who am I and what the f**k is going on. Malay mo... habang ka nasa daan nakasalubong mo na pala ako."

"f**k-"

"Also... you don't know who really Zach is. He's not what you think. You can't trust anyone in this world, Faizah. No one." the unknown caller ended the call.

Buong gabi akong walang tulog, kaya nang bumaba ako, nakatulala lang ako sa labas. Hanggang ngayon, kahit umaga, hindi parin mawala sa isip ko yong mga sinabi nong tumawag sakin.

Tinignan ko si Zach habang siya busy sakaka nood ng netflix.

I don't know who he really is?

I mean, it's true. I barely know him. Pero alam kong hindi siya masamang tao. Minsan nga nararamdaman kong nagaalala siya sakin, nahahalata ko sa mga kilos niya.

O baka asumera lang talaga ako?

"Vera, you should watch this." he said while his eyes are still busy watching.

I smiled. "Sige!"

Umupo ako sa tabi niya at nanood kami parehas. Gumitna samin si Moon and that made me chuckled... and felt happy.

"We are going out tonight, Vera. I bought a dress for you." pang babasag niya ng katahimikan.

I sat as an indian sit and faced him. "Ayoko, Zach. Paano kung mangyari nanaman tulad nong kumain tayo sa labas?" I pouted.

I feel comfortable.

He started talking to me but I kinda spaced out. I was just staring at his eyes while he was busy explaining.

I slowly looked down on his lips and it felt like... someone is pushing my back so I can kiss him.

"Vera, are you listening?"

I got back to my senses nang narinig kong sumeryoso siya. "Y-yes! We are going to club tonight!"

Kinagabihan, I was busy looking at my dress sa salamin. Hanggang tuhod 'yong haba ng dress ko and it's a black sparkling dress. I love it.

I also put some makeup. A dark brown eyeshadow, eyeliner, and a red lipstick. Perfect!

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at napatigil sa pag aayos ng necktie si Zach nang matanaw niya ako.

He was wearing a white polo and a black tuxedo. "Let's go?"

I nodded. Nang makalabas kami, pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto sa kotse at pinauna niya akong pumasok sa loob. When he got in, he started the engine and drove off.

The club was quite far, it took 1hr. He wanted to drop me off sa labas but I refused. I wanted to make sure he's safe kaya sasama ako hanggang sa parking lot.

After he parked his car, we went straight to the VIP area at pinakita niya 'yong I.D sa guard. When we got inside, I held his arm using my left hand, and I noticed that he took a glance on me.

We grabbed a L'Ermita Priorat; at habang kami naglalakad-lakad, Sebastian showed up. He greeted me and he greeted back.

"Saya rito no, Fye? Maraming chicks dito, be right back!" pag papaalam niya.

I waved at him while smiling. We started walking around again at napahinto si Zach nang may kausapin siya.

But before I looked away, nakita kong may linapitan na babae si Sebastian. And it made me laughed when the girl looked at him disgustingly.

"Oh, is that your girlfriend?" he asked while smiling at him. "Bill. I'm Bill. Nice to meet you... and you are?"

"Faizah," I said while smiling.

"She's my secretary, Sir. And if you will excuse, we have to go. Let's go?" he looked at me at napaawang ang labi ko.

Secretary?

I am his secretary?

I mean, it would be better if he will introduce me on his acquaintance as his friend, not a goddamn secretary, ugh!

Nevermind. We even had a deal if people asked about us, ang sasabihin namin about lang sa trabaho niya.

Pero bakit ako nasaktan do'n?

"S-sure," mahina kong sagot.

I drank the last sip on my glass. I excused myself na kukuha ulit ako ng wine. Habang ako naglalakad sa bartender, biglang nawalan ng ilaw maski yong tugtog nawala.

"Survive... or die!" they screamed.
