Kendrick quickly shifted into his wolf; his immediate destination was the Forest Moon pack. He ducked limbs and jumped roots as his wolf led him toward his mate. The closer he got to the pack, the greater her scent was. Once he ended up at the border of the Forest Moon pack, he began to run even harder. He passed the screaming border guards and pushed himself towards the pack house. However, the guards were closing the gap on him. Quickly, he shifted back into Human form and turned to see the two wolves glaring at him with their teeth bared. He held up his hands and smirked as he stood to his feet with a large stick in his hand.
