Dusk started settling on New Dawn, and the Alphas enjoyed the feast Richard had prepared for them. Aiden walked around the party extremely unsettled; finally, he found the one he was looking for. “Richard, have you seen Misty? I’ve not seen her since we got here.”
Richard looked quizzically at Aiden and shook his head no. Then, he looked at Carl, who happened to be standing next to him, and whispered something in his ear. Carl nodded in agreement and quietly left the conversation.
“I’ve not seen her, but I don’t want to get everyone worried over nothing. It’s her parent’s death anniversary; she may need time alone. So I’ve got Carl grabbing a few trackers to see if they can find her.”
