I lost my control, and Shadow switched control with me as soon as we saw our mate fighting with Ashton while killing rogues too. Danny was also busy dealing with rogues, but the most infuriating thing was the wounds on Hazel’s body. Shadow roared aloud while lunging toward Ashton. “Take Hazel away from here, Theo,” I roared at Theo through our mind-link in anger. “Brother… something is wrong,” he answered me in a worried tone. “We will discuss everything later, Theo. She is injured, and you can see that she will soon collapse,” I yelled at him in anger this time. Shadow attacked Ashton from behind and dug his canines deep inside his calves, making him scream in pain.
