“You are right that there were some secret passages behind these walls, but if my memories serve me right, then those passages were already destroyed or sealed from the outside,” Darius told everyone in a confused tone.
“You knew about them?” Theo asked him angrily, earning a glare from Darius. “My father was an architecture, Theo, and he was responsible for the renovation and modification of the palace seventy years ago during the reign of your grandfather. I remembered vaguely about his discussion with your grandfather about those passages, but I didn’t know the details,” Darius answered him in a bitter tone.
“You were only twelve at that time. So, it clarified the fact why you didn’t know the details,” Valerie murmured while thinking about something very hard. “
