“It… it’s killing,” I told the pack doctor in a painful tone when she asked me about the pain all over my body. I felt so weak, and exhausted as if I had finished a fierce battle just now. “No worries, my queen. This is because your wolf is still in the healing process, and she is using most of your strength and energy. I am sure that she will be healed in a few days.” she assured me with a genuine smile and worry on her face.
“So, she has to bear this pain for a few more days?” Theo asked her in a worried tone. I couldn’t open my eyes completely, but his worry was clearly evident in his voice. “We…. We can give her some sedative to keep her asleep, Alpha Theo,” the doctor suggested, but I didn’t want to sleep anymore.
