Actually, I didn't mean to. This was my first time learning about the ancient magic contained within the Wind Magic Wand. That's all I've ever heard about this pipe.
I'm just thinking about how majestic and sacred it would be if the heir of the Tandin family ascended the throne of the clan leader holding a pipe!
The third item was the Fire Orb. Lisa received her item intact, but the scene that day made her hate me more than anyone else present. She glared at me like a knife. If eyes could cut, I'd probably be shattered into over eight hundred pieces by now.
You know, I'm completely clueless about fire magic. It was only because of financial constraints that I had to find a flint. I occasionally heard at a trade ethics forum that the mayor of the Magic City—Lisbon—had a very fine flint in his collection. Of course, it was those guys who deliberately shouted it out right next to me.
Afterward, my heart itched, and after countless attempts, frequent swings, thrilling adventures, overcoming obstacles, and stealing, I finally got my hands on the Fire Spirit Orb, said to be unique in the Fire Realm.
But after stealing it, I regretted it. My sensitivity to elements other than wind is practically zero. When it comes to magic involving other elements, even a simple fireball spell, like the one used to create a fire, is ineffective. So, even with the Fire Spirit Orb, I couldn't sense its immense fire power and couldn't use it.
Of course, I'm an unethical thief, so I considered returning the Fire Spirit Orb to them, but then changed my mind. I hated Lisa.
That magic robe was riddled with holes from her Seven Stars Returning to Position.
The robe didn't really have any special purpose; it was simply a favorite of the great wizard Keaton from a thousand years ago. It would probably fetch a few billion at most—just enough to buy a decent-sized city! You have to understand that this garment is a sacred relic I stole from a major global religion—Islam. The term "priceless" can sometimes be used to describe its value. Regardless of its commemorative significance and value, this antique among antiques is no cheaper than the Mona Lisa.
Speaking of the most painful part, this "extraordinarily" expensive sacred garment was undone by this girl's simple move...
Now, besides being "extraordinarily" cool, there's nothing "special" about it.
But fortunately, this garment will be returned soon.
The fourth piece of clothing I inherited was the sacred garment of Islam. When it was presented before the crowd, the old high priest with a weak heart went dark and fainted on the ground. The once pure white magic robe had now turned pure black. The grease and dirt on it gleamed in the sunlight. It was unimaginable that this was a sacred relic worshipped daily by tens of millions and revered for thousands of years, now pierced with hundreds of small holes. Even more shamelessly, there was a larger one in a vital area. I had filled in the existing holes to facilitate urination.
The unconscious high priest and the garment were then carried away.
Now that the matter had been resolved, all the treasures had been returned to their original owners. Next came the question of my punishment. The square erupted in a clamor, echoing with cries of "Kill him, kill him!" The owners of the treasures on the dais must have shared the same wish, but due to decorum, they remained silent, awaiting Will III's verdict.
Will III announced loudly to the eager anticipation of the crowd: "Silence, silence, silence! Now I will pronounce the sentence on Kano, one of the world's three most evil thieves." The entire square fell silent, everyone listening to my final verdict.
Will III cleared his throat and solemnly read: "For Kano's crimes, the death penalty imposed by our Supreme Court is insufficient. Therefore, the Supreme Court has unanimously decreed that the great thief, Kano, be imprisoned in mental prison until his death." His words echoed throughout the square, shrouded in silence.
It's important to note that mental captivity isn't generally used in criminal law because such punishment is too inhumane. Its purpose is to inflict immense mental torture on the victim. The pain inflicted by the body is transmitted to the brain through nerves, and the brain is the recipient of this pain. The mental signals generated by the body inform the brain that the body is in pain. The amount of pain inflicted on the body has a certain limit. Generally, the greater the damage to the body, the greater the pain. When the body is damaged beyond this limit, the victim will die. The mental captivity is crafted from an ancient Ottoman treasure, the "Soul Water Crystal."

The Thief Mage, latest chapter, Chapter 7, website: [Note: The following appears to be unrelated and likely a separate topic.] It can transmit a variety of sensory signals to the brain without injuring the body, providing sensations such as pain, itching, sadness, regret, jealousy, and more. These sensations are beyond the reach of any other form of torture.
A discussion began to ripple through the square. Some voices rose from below, suggesting that this punishment was too inhumane and should not be applied to a human being, while others believed that I deserved it for my crimes. Regardless of opposition, I believe the king's decision is unchallengeable.
Suddenly, Karina stepped forward and addressed Will III sternly, "Your Majesty, I believe this punishment should not be applied to a human being. This is known as divine retribution, God's punishment of the devil. I certify that Your Majesty revokes the order. Although he has committed monstrous crimes, he is still a human being!"
Wow! I was not mistaken! I never imagined that the only person to plead for me would be Karina, my sworn enemy.
"Needless to say, it's already been decided! This has been approved by the Supreme Court, and any dispute is irrelevant." Will III sternly rebuffed Karina.
"Someone, take the prisoner down for execution!"
Karina looked overwhelmed. She looked at me with a helpless expression. I noticed the sadness in her eyes. ???
From the expressions of the crowd, I seemed to sense the severity of this punishment. It was incredibly severe! Was it really that severe?
I was honored to soon experience it myself.
Soon, I was led from the stage and, under the gaze of thousands, they marched me along the white marble path toward the palace.
With Kanalin and the others "protecting" me, and heavily guarded, it seemed I had no choice but to die here today. I felt dejected. Alas, there was nothing to cling to in this life. My only regret was that I hadn't shed the shameful title of virginity. Thinking of this, I couldn't help but look at Karina.
Karina seemed to notice my strange look and said regretfully, "Don't look at me with such pleading eyes. It's no use regretting it now. What you've done is one of the most heinous crimes in the world. To describe your evil deeds as heinous doesn't seem to be enough. If I had known this would happen, why would I have done it in the first place?"
Looking at her, tears welled up in my eyes. I gazed at the kind-hearted girl before me with the utmost reverence. Her lips trembled with excitement, leaving me speechless. Actually...
I just wanted to ask her measurements!
