(flashback continuation…)
“My flower just withered
Blood has flowed in the wedding dress
Because of you the noblest
My most beautiful flower is gone
My innocent flower!”
A woman appeared out of nowhere, narrating those words. Bryle looked at the woman but could not see her face. He was still struggling from the piercing pain in his heart.
“You shall pay for what you’ve done, my innocent flower is my dearest, wearing a wedding dress. Of all the days you chose this day, am I not respectable in thy eyes.”
She is the goddess of marriage and she hated that a tragedy will befall on a wedding day which is supposed to be a happy occasion.
“You had a curse and she was the cure but she was killed before you’re cured because of greed, perceived as ugly. I’ll let you have your senses, feel all of the pain in the world and that will be your punishment.”
Then she had disappeared with her last words.
“A destined partner is always tied, a marriage that should be done will always go as plan. It may not be today but it certainly will happen.”
Bryle couldn’t bare the pain and passed out.
After an hour he woke up and looked around. The body of the noble lady had vanished. He felt that his fangs grew and his senses are very sensitive. He can hear voices and see objects from a distant place. He found out that he can read minds of other people and can run in a flash.
There were many changes in his body. He was very sensitive of the sunlight so he actually hid in the mountains and never came back home. He can just roam around at night to check his family as they grew old and eventually dies. He was stuck in the same situation and did not grew old. After hundreds of years passed, he become more powerful and he was able to handle the sunlight. It did not have much effect on him later on. For hundreds of years the people he knew were re-incarnated but he never saw the noble lady.
(At present)
“I was actually finding you but you were the one who came to me,” his mouth lifted.
“If I married you in the past, would we live a happy life as a family?” He couldn’t stop thinking of his regrets and how his family betrayed her family.
“With you beside me, will this curse be lifted finally?” he thought to himself.
