Ava's P.O.V
"Zuri? Why is this man telling me that?" I linked her.
"Mate. He's our second chance mate. Please Ava, don't reject him."
I gulped and finally turned around to face the man. He was in senior year. This man's name is Levi Alexander Grayson. He's the most popular boy in school. He has no clue that I'm a werewolf too. I gulped again as I looked at his dark grey eyes. I could tell his wolf was close to the surface due to the swirling gold in his eyes. "Mine." He growled.
"I-- Wait--" I took a step back when he stepped forward. Levi growled at me for stepping away. "W-wait..." Even though Levi never picked on me, I still didn't trust him. Being bullied for so long, makes it really hard to trust anyone. I couldn't stop the whimper of fear that left my lips. That seemed to make him come back to his senses.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me there. Did I frighten you?" He reached out, but I took a few steps back. He looked hurt by that. "I'm sorry. Please don't be afraid of me. I won't hurt you. I promise."
I opened my link to Mom. "Mom..."
Her reply was fast. "What is it, baby?" She must have heard the fear in my voice.
"I think I found my second chance mate." I paused. "Zuri asked me not to reject him. Mom, what do I do?"
"What's his name?"
"Levi Grayson. He's a senior here. Please Mom, What do I do?"
"I know that name.." She paused then she started laughing. "I remember now. His Mother cut some of my finger off my last body. I kicked her ass so bad, she stayed as far away from me as she could."
"Really Mom!?"
"You're a werewolf too?" Levi asking that made me realize that I hadn't spoken in my link, but out loud.
I felt heat rise to my cheeks. "I am."
"What were you talking about?" Levi looked pretty calm, but my heart was pounding in my chest.
"I was telling her about you. Apparently, your Mom cut some of my Mom's fingers off. She also said that she kicked your Mom's ass so bad that your Mom stayed as far away from my Mom as she possibly could."
Levi covered his mouth. I could see his shoulders shaking. I went to ask what was wrong, but he moved his hand and I could see that he was laughing. "My Mom may have looks, but she's dumb as a stump! I'm not one bit surprised that your Mom kicked her ass." I blinked a few times as he gathered himself. "So, wanna skip class with me?"
He held out his hand to me. I hesitated for a second, but took his hand anyways. The tingles in my hand made me gasp and let go. Levi was looking at his hand with a strange look. "That's the mate bond. Nothing to worry about." Zuri reassured me.
"What was that? It was like an electric shock. Did you feel it too?"
I nodded. "Yes. Apparently that's that mate bond. My wolf just told me." Levi nodded and took my hand again. This time, we didn't let go.
He had taken me to my locker to put my books away. After that, he took me to the football field. We didn't talk much, but that was okay. It was comfortable. Strangely, I felt safe with Levi. Even though I hardly knew him at all. "I don't feel like going to class today, Want to go for a run with me?"
He smiled at me. I nodded and pulled him into the shadows. I put one finger over his mouth when we were standing in my room. I could hear Mom and Dad downstairs. Levi turned around as I got undressed and shifted. I did the same for him. I turned around to face a light grey wolf. He still had some growing to do. His paws were way too big for his body. I knew I wouldn't be able to take him through the shadows again, I had to sneak us out of my house. Jumping out of my window wasn't an option, it was too far of a drop. I placed my paw on his snout. He seemed to understand that he needed to be quiet because he nodded once.
Sneaking out with my parents around, proved to be more difficult that with just Henry and Papa around. I peaked around the corner to look at Mom and Dad, but Mom was standing right there. I gulped. "Using the shadows to skip school, will get you in trouble, young lady." I whimpered and gave her the biggest puppy eyes I could manage. "No matter how cute you look, you will not get out of this."
"But Mama! School is boring!" I kept my puppy eyes right on her. Mind you, she didn't look like she was going to give in.
"Penelope, I do believe that the boy behind her is her mate. I don't blame her for wanting to be with him. I don't want to be away from you."
Mom crossed her arms. " No. Her schooling is more important." Mom turned back to me. "I never went back to school after I met your Aunt and Uncles. Mate or no mate, school comes first."
I huffed. "My love, just today. He seems like a good boy. I'm sure he will listen to our rules. Please my love, let them have today." Mom growled and Dad. "I'll let you do anything you want to me."
Nope! That was it for me! I'm out! I took off out the front door with Levi on my tail. The only thing going through my mind, was EW! I understand it's been a long time for both of them, but really!? They had to do that in front of me!? I hated my mind due to the fact that it goes a mile a minute and shows me images that I really don't want to see. I had to stop running just to shift and vomit. "Are you okay?" Levi asked as he pulled my hair back so I don't vomit on it.
I heaved a few more times before answering him. "Yeah, I'm okay. My mind just doesn't like me very much."
"What do you mean by that?"
I wiped my mouth. "Well, Mrs. Blackbird told me once that my mind is of a writers. i picture things in detail and believe me when I say this, it's not as great as it sounds."
"Oh. What did you picture to make you throw up that?"
Death's P.O.V
"Anything I want huh?" I could see that this was the worst thing I could have said. I gulped and nodded. I truly believe I am going to regret this. "Well, seeing as our daughter just got away and this whole house is empty, you are going to do what I want you to with no complaint or refusal. Clear?"
I gulped again. "Clear." Her smile alone made me start to get nervous. There was pure evil in her eyes. She wasn't even hiding it!
"Good boy." She smiled. "Now strip." I didn't refuse or complain. I stripped everything off, but my boxers. Her eyebrow quirked up. "Did I not tell you to strip?" I gulped and took them all too. What did this woman have in her mind? Did her years with my father turn her pure soul dark? "Good boy. Now head up those stairs to our room."
I turned and walked up the stairs. "I do believe you are in trouble, Death." Luke spoke.
I let out a sigh. "Probably, but who knows."
Penelope's P.O.V
I watched as Death walked up the stairs. He has no clue what I learned after spending so much time with his father. He may not like me after this. I giggled and walked toward the kitchen. With the kitchen in my possession now, I've hidden things around. "What are you planning. Penelope?" Snow linked me. I giggled again. "You aren't going to hurt our mate are you?"
"Oh Goddess, no! However, he may not be the same after I'm done with him." I may not have been dominant before I died, but I am now. I smiled and took out some rope I had hidden. I giggled. "He's really not going to be happy with me."
I gathered a few more items I hid and headed up to the room. I opened the door and saw Death sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked up at me and visibly swallowed. "What's all that for?" I smiled, but didn't respond. He whimpered. That's entertaining.
"You are to lay on your back." He did so, but I could see the fear in his eyes. That made me smile. Good. That's what I want.
"W-what do you have in mind?" I turned and narrowed my eyes at him. He whimpered again, but didn't speak.
I tied his hands to the bedposts. I made sure that I could get him to roll over comfortably when I wanted him to. I looked at him, the fear in his eyes was almost gone. Not good. I reached down to my items on the floor and grabbed the cockring. He was already hard, but I wanted him soft. A growl slipped from my lips. He didn't react much to my growl, so I flicked the tip of his c**k, hard. He yelped and tugged on the rope that held his wrists above his head. That worked. He was soft, so I slipped the ring on. I looked at him again, fear and anger swirled in his eyes. I smiled. "What are you angry about?"
"That hurt you know!" He growled at me.
I laughed. "I know. However, you are not allowed to get hard until I say so. Now be a good boy and do as you are told." The anger in his eyes grew, but that's okay. This was for my pleasure, not his. I smirked and grabbed the riding crop. "Roll over." At first, he refused my order, but when I brought the crop down on his chest, he hissed in pain and rolled over. I dragged the crop down his back to his ass and struck him with it. He growled at the pain. I struck him once more, closer to his lower back. Again, he growled at the pain. I smiled and set the crop down. "You aren't going to like me very much" I blindfolded him quickly. I could feel his body tense up.
"What are you planning?" The fear was very clear in his voice. I smirked and leaned down close to his ear and bit it.
"You don't need to know yet." I heard him gulp. "Just don't tense up, and it won't hurt." I popped open the lid to some lube and put it on him.
"P-please, Penelope! Tell me what you are doing!" I growled and grabbed the crop. I struck him hard across his back twice.
"That is no way to address me!" My words were laced with growls.
"M-Mistress! Please forgive me!"
"Good boy." I grabbed the anal beads I had gotten earlier. "Now, don't tense up." I slipped in the first bead. I looked at his face, he was red. I smiled and popped in two more. He hissed at the slight pain, but didn't moan or tell me to stop. I took that in acceptance and popped in another two beads. This time, he moaned. I could feel myself getting wet. I liked this and Death seemed to as well. With four more beads left to go, I pushed another in. His moans were laced with lust and pain. I stopped there and took them out. I stood beside the bed and stripped my clothes off. "Roll over." With no questions and no sight, Death obeyed. He was still very soft, good. I took his c**k in my hand and rubbed it. He gasped at my gentle touch. "You can get hard now." I licked the tip and instantly, he started to get hard. It never took long for me to get him fully hard. I untied his wrists and let him take the blindfold off. His eyes were full of lust and wanting. I straddled him, having his throbbing c**k rub against my c**t. He bucked his hips and I gasped.
"Please, let me go inside you." He begged me. I gave him a nod and slipped his c**k inside me. I moaned and Death growled at how tight I was. He took dominance from me and rolled us so I was on my back.
It didn't take us long to reach our highs. I felt his K9's dig deep into my neck. I was now marked as his once again. "I love you." I whispered.
Ava's P.O.V
"Oh Goddess! That is gross to picture." Levi's face was of disgust. He looked like he was going to vomit too.
I giggled. "Yeah. This is why I tend not to think or do anything that might lead to my mind going wild like that."
Levi smiled. "You should become a writer. You'd be famous and have a way to get your mind to be somewhat calm."
"I don't know. I feel like I wouldn't be good enough. What if it seems like it's rambled?"
"You'll be great. Besides, who would want to make nasty comments when you have me around?"
"Not everyone will be able to understand my mind and the way it works." I have no clue why I'm even talking to him like this! I literally just met him! I sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm rambling on like this and we literally just met."
He chuckled. "It's alright. I'm your mate. I'll listen to all your worries and I'll do my best to help you through them."
I felt my cheeks get hot. "Thank you. I'll do that for you too."
He smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Let's go for that run, eh?" I smiled and nodded.
We shifted and took off into the trees. It was a wonderful run, but I began to get tired and I was in a great need for a drink. I yipped at Levi and turned to go back home. I didn't run full speed, but I was still quick. "Is the house safe to enter?" I linked Dad.
"No! I mean, not right now." Odd. Dad sounded scared.
"Everything okay, Dad?"
"Everything is fine! Just stay with your mate a while longer." After that, Dad closed the link. Something was wrong.
"Papa? Are you at home?"
"Yup. Don't come home. I've already told Henry to spend the night out. Go sleep over at a friends house." Papa closed the link.
I swear, I can be as stupid as a blonde sometimes. "Henry?"
"What's up? Everything okay, Sis?"
"No. I've been told not to go home by Dad and Papa. Why?"
Henry laughed into the link. "Everything is fine, Ava. Big Sis and Big Bro are have their own time right now. They have many years to catch up on."
I mentally slapped myself. How stupid can I get? I huffed and shifter to my human form. "Looked like I have to ask a friend to have a sleepover."
Levi shifted quickly. "My house in open for that." He paused and I saw his cheeks turn pink. "I mean, that is, uhh... If you want to spend the night at my house, you are welcome to. My parents have a spare room and all."
I giggled. "That would be nice."
Later that night, I was laying in Levi's spare room. For some reason, I couldn't get any sleep. I sighed and looked at the time. It was almost two in the morning. I've been thinking about telling Henry that I can't sleep, but I didn't want to risk waking him up if he was. "He's not asleep. He needs us." Zuri sounded strange. I could hear sadness, worry and something else I couldn't put my finger on, in her voice.
I opened my link. "Henry? Are you awake?"
"Yeah. I can't seem to get to sleep."
"Same here. Can you come to Levi's house?"
"Yeah. I'll be there in ten." He closed the link. It was still odd for me. I didn't think I was a werewolf until I literally shifted.
I sighed and tossed and turned. "Let me know when you are here, please." Henry may be and Uncle/Cousin, but he still needed me as much as I needed him.
I rolled toward the window and almost screamed. Henry was there smiling at me. I quickly opened the window and he slipped soundlessly into the room. "Thanks. I was afraid that you might have been sleeping. I didn't want to wake you."
I shook my head. "No. I was awake, but I thought you were sleeping, Big Brother. I didn't want to wake you." Henry smiled and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Let's get some sleep. We both need it." I nodded and curled up in a ball on the bed. Henry climbed in after me. He always left a good amount of space between us. We didn't feel comfortable being too close or cuddling. Plus, Henry told me that I move way too much.
The next morning, I was woken up by a very possessive growl. I looked around in my daze, when my eyes settled on Levi, who was standing in the doorway. He growled and went to take a step forward when I growled back at him. "It's just my Big Brother Henry."
"Why is he here?" Levi growled.
"Because, Ava and i have a special bond. I know when she needs me and she knows when I need her. I helped her Mom give birth to her when I was five. I'm the one who gave her, her name. I understand if you are jealous or even angry at the moment, but I've got to tell you, you have to get used to seeing Ava in a bed with me." Henry was calm as he explained what was going on.
When I looked at Levi, he looked a bit calmer too. "So, the rumors about you two are true, or not?"
I blinked. "What rumors?" I looked between Henry and Levi.
Levi sat at the foot of the bed. He seemed to have calmed down. "Well, Some say that you two ar dating, others say that you are just f*****g even though you're related. There are some others, but they are way out there and nearly everyone knows they are fake."
Henry and I looked at each other before we burst into laughter. "Nah man! I've been seeing this girl from the human world. She just moved here last week. Plus, there is no way I would do anything with Ava. She's my Little Sister. That's just nasty."
"Yeah, that's gross." I managed to say after catching my breath.
It wasn't long before Levi's Mom came up to the room to tell us that it was time to go to school. I sighed and got ready to go. His Mom didn't seem to want to look at me. "Don't worry about her. She's just afraid that your Mom will come kick the s**t out of her again."
"I don't think my Mom would do that to her."
"Your Mother almost made it impossible for me to have children! Your Mother isn't a werewolf! She's a monster and I pray she didn't rub off on you. My son will not be in a relationship with someone like that."
A vicious growl sounded off behind me. I turned and saw Dad in his wolf form with Mom on his back, but it wasn't Dad who growled. "You think I'm a monster? Should I tell them who picked the fight?"
Penelope's P.O.V
She glared at me. "Go ahead. Embarrass me eve more than you already have."
"So be it." I paused and slipped off Death's back. "I went to a dance with Wolf. She got jealous and came at me with a knife. She had the upper hand a first, but she had no clue how to use a knife. I let her get a few stabs in. I tried to even the field between us. I let her cut off some of my fingers. She got cocky about it and i was done with bleeding out. Two punches and she's lost the knife. I gave her plenty of chances to take me down, but every time, she failed. I eventually won due to being tired of not fighting back. Tell me, am I really a monster? I mean, I wasn't really fighting back. Am I such a monster for that?" I looked at her. Her face showed pure rage and hatred for everything.
"You are a monster! Your kick to my stomach made it almost impossible for me to have children! Levi is the only child I have thanks to you!"
"that's not my fault. You started the fight and I finished it. I lost fingers and weeks of my life. Plus, if it wasn't for me, Lockwood would still be running this place. You wouldn't have met your husband . You never would have given birth to Levi. You'd still be sleeping with every Tom, d**k and Harry."
"Wait, Mom you were a w***e?" Levi looked shocked. "If that's true, that how do you know for sure that I'm actually Dad's son?" She looked at the ground, suddenly finding it the most fascinating thing in the world. "Mom. Am I actually Dad's son?"
I saw tears stream down her cheeks. "No. He knows that you aren't his son, but he raised you like you were."
Levi growled at her. "Who is my father?"
"Hunter is your father. Wolf's brother." She sobbed. I covered my mouth with my hand. That was truly a shock to me.
"Hunter is a crow, how did I end up being a werewolf?"
"Me. When Lockwood was running this town, Aria and I became one in our sleep. I told your Grandparents about it, they helped me cover it up that she died. Hunter wasn't one with Demon yet. You are a werewolf because of me." Levi growled and walked away. Ava ran after him, but he growled at her too. That made Snow growl in my head.
"How dare he! That is my pup he's growling at!" Snow screeched.
"Henry!" I watched as Ava ran right to his open arms and cried. I felt a tinge in my chest. She didn't run to me. Her Mom.
I let out a sigh and climbed back up onto Death's back. "It's okay, my Queen. She will come to us if she needs. You know her and Henry have a special bond."
"I know, but it still hurts that she doesn't need me. It was like yesterday that she was two and needed me for everything. Makes me wish I had never died."
"If you didn't, she wouldn't be who she is today. Some things have to happen. If we didn't let them happen, this world would stop and disappear. It would be nothing again."
I let out another sigh. "Let's go. She can go to school with Henry today." Death turned and started walking back to the house.
"Mom? Dad?" Death turned and looked at her. "Aren't you going to take me to school?"
I smiled softly. "Do you want us to take you today?"
"Yeah." She paused and looked in the direction Levi ran off in. "I'll see him eventually and Henry has a date to get ready for." She gave me a bright smile.
"Up you come than." I held out my hand to pull her up. Once she was settled, Death took off.
