A Demon's Intervention

309 Words
Joseph and Seth returned to his apartment room. "Shall we take this to the police?" Joseph asked. "The news clip says, if you have information, please tell the police, so I think they can not help us further," Seth said. "There might be bits of information that may help us, I don't want to get haunted by Marin in my dreams every night," Joseph said. "Well, how about getting followed everywhere you go, by a ghost?" Seth exclaimed. Then Seladon appeared in front of them. "Whoooaaaaahhhhhh!" they both surprisingly exclaimed. "You can see him too?" Seth asked Joseph. Joseph just nodded shakily. "I am in my human form, the most vulnerable form we demons take. Of course anyone can see me," Seladon exclaimed. "It seems like you already have a lead to your, little investigation. I will keep an eye on you. I will be around, wether you like it or not. Marin's soul is mine." Seladon said. Even though the words are cruel, the speaker is quite cute, so charming. So Joseph and Seth just stared at his face. "Are you supposed to give an evil laugh? Go, give an evil laugh!" Joseph said dreamily. Seladon just smirked, and dissapeared in black clouds. The two of them stared at each other for quiet a while, bewitched by the demon. Seth gave out a deep sigh. "Why does not he have a terrible face instead," Joseph held his hand, "Bro, I am also handsome. We have been together at work for two years. Why can not you see me?" he said softly. "Stop your fooling around, you are not my type," Seth said. Joseph lowered his glance, slowly he moved his face towards Seth, and said, "Is it because I am not a demon?" with a devilish smirk. Then laughed a lousy evil laugh. "Wa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Teeheehee." "Haaaiiissssst," Seth hissed.
