Ethan gently helped Jeremiah onto the bed while Alex stood quietly behind, watching the scene unfold.
Just as Ethan offered to help Jeremiah change out of his clothes, Alex stepped forward. ''I’ll do it.'' He said.
Ethan turned to him, surprised. ''Are you sure?''
Alex nodded. ''Yes. Can you get his clothes?''
Ethan smiled, understanding exactly what Alex was trying to do. Without saying another word, he walked over to Jeremiah’s closet to find something comfortable.
Alex sat beside Jeremiah and sighed. Jeremiah was fast asleep, his face pale and tired. Alex considered waking him up to change on his own, but Jeremiah barely had the strength to stand after all the vomiting.
With another quiet sigh, Alex began to help him undress, carefully removing his suit and shirt.
