Marcel sat at his dining table, halfway through breakfast when the doorbell rang.
He frowned, glancing at his untouched meal. With a groan of frustration, he pushed back his chair and headed to the door.
When he opened it, his eyes widened in surprise. "Alex?"
Alex stood calmly on the doorstep. "May I come in?"
Marcel blinked, still stunned. "Y-Yeah, of course." He stepped aside, letting Alex in.
Once inside, Marcel closed the door and led him to the living room. He gestured to the couch. "Have a seat."
