CHAPTER 9It was 6:40 a.m. when Bannister stopped by Barnes’s workstation, where he sat hunched over his keyboard typing like crazy. Barnes typed with just two fingers but was as fast as many secretaries.
Bannister noticed he was dressed in a blue sweat suit with white stripes. “What’s with the casual attire this morning?”
“Sorry about that,” said Barnes. “I was down in the gym when I got paged I had an important call upstairs.”
Members of the Terrorist Task Force dressed differently than agents assigned to work fugitives or drugs. Same mission—catching the bad guys—but different style.
