CHAPTER 11When Bannister got home from work, he found a notice from FedEx taped to his mailbox. They had a package requiring a signature and would hold it for three days. He hadn’t been expecting any special deliveries so was curious what it was. He went to the FedEx office, which was open for another hour. Once there, the clerk handed him an overnight envelope. He looked at the return address: Jennifer Van Otten, Kairos Kare, Thousand Oaks, California. There was a name that was a blast from the past—twenty years ago.
