“I came in early today and updated our searches on Bashir Rahman al-Ahmad. Then I called my CIA contact again and she had something new. Six weeks ago, MI5, the British Security Service, asked for a records check on Rahman al-Ahmad. The Agency responded that they didn’t have anything current. Thought you’d want to know before the meeting.”
“Good work, Germaine. Thanks.”
He located Ramirez and requested she send out an urgent request for MI5 to tell them what their interest was in Bashir Rahman al-Ahmad. He told her to volunteer to the Brits that al-Ahmad was a person of interest in an ongoing murder investigation as well as being linked to a terrorist cell in the US.
