CHAPTER 42While driving to the Atlanta airport for the third time in a week, Bannister called Detective Roy Miller.
“Did you hear the latest on that Rashone Green shooting you and Agent Ramirez witnessed?” Miller asked.
“No.”
“He entered a not guilty plea at his preliminary and requested a jury trial. Word is he’s going to claim self-defense.”
“You’ve got to be kidding. That was a cold-blooded execution.”
“You and I know that, but if he gets a twelve-person jury of Atlanta numb nuts, anything can happen. Anyway, what’s up?” Miller asked.
“We’ve got new intelligence on who may have been responsible for the Middleton murder. We think three men were involved. Two of them are in one of your hotel parking lot pictures. One subject is Hassan Last Name Unknown and the other may be Kasim Mus
