The underground racing scene in Gaunt City has been around a long time. An event which is not exclusive to a certain group, but rather, anyone who is a car enthusiast and a risk-taker is welcome to join. However, it is highly illegal and dangerous, and is considered a high priority response by the Gaunt City police force; so naturally, the attendees are comprised mostly of Mafia members from different families — people who aren’t afraid to go against the law, and who are fully aware of the possibility of going to prison if they get caught.
It isn’t just a fun recreational sport for fearless criminals, but others also see it as a chance to show off their expensive cars — some are even modified and upgraded specifically in preparation for a race to be announced.
