Aki started the car and they finally continued along, hopefully with no more interruptions along the way. They turned left at the T-junction, following the road the van took. It was a short trip; it took less than a minute until they reached the cul-de-sac.
The street had widened into a big circular shape at the end. There was only one way to get in or out. There were four single-story houses spaciously situated around the cul-de-sac and one lofty duplex house in the middle of the rounded end. The contemporary houses were similarly designed with a cream white exterior with black trims and black flat roofs. Behind the houses, a thick grove of trees encircled the entire cul-de-sac, much like a mini forest, making the area very private.
