It couldn't be?

I immediately opened my eyes and realized I must've been asleep for a good few hours as it looked as if we're hitting the late afternoon and the Dr had brought in something to eat/drink like she said she would. I reached over and grabbed the food.

She had brought me in a chicken and avocado salad, ham and egg sandwich with a can of coke to wash it all down. God I love the taste in food she has I thought to myself as I devoured the sandwich in 3 bites. I couldn't believe how hungry I was but considering the amount of trauma my body went through today I wasn't surprised it needed the energy reboot.

My mind started drifting through my thoughts when I remembered something I should've as soon as I woke up. Mate.

Mate? I thought to myself. Where the f**k was that voice coming from and wtf did it mean by mate? I was frowning to myself about it before the door opened and in walked the Dr.

"Good to see you up and eating" she said smiling. I held up the salad in one hand waving it and covering my fully stuffed mouth with the other as a way to say thank you.

"Now, your body is recovering slowly from the injuries but most of your bones have started to slowly come together, but because you haven't connected with your wolf yet nor have progressed to the shifting Stage it may take you awhile longer than others" she said flipping through my chart.

I nodded in acknowledgement as I continued to eat, that's when the smell hit me like a tonne of bricks once again.

"What the f**k is that beautiful smell?!" I exclaimed out loud.

"Smell? What smell?" She asked me in amusement.

"Wild berries and vanilla bean" I said sniffing the air with a gasp. "I've been smelling it all throughout the day first this morning before waking up in here" I gestured to the room "second was just before I went to sleep, and this is the third time now" I said in disbelief. 

Before she could answer the door flew open and there in the door way stood a beautiful looking man, with black jet hair, dark green eyes, lips so plumped it made my core just wet looking at them with the most smoothest tan olive skin that you could die for. 

Damn the gods really took their time in creating you didn't they I thought to myself as I slowly started to bite on my lower lip.

The mystery man just happened to see me and flashed a smile I'll never forget l, that gave my core the most ultimate orgasm without even trying. That's when I realized, the smell. Wild berries and vanilla bean.

"Excuse me, you can't be in here right now" the Dr said interrupting my thoughtts as she tried to usher him out the door. He growled at her with a low piercing growl that made her hold her hands out and back up.

"Mate" he growled in the most devilish tone I've heard that made my core throb in affection.

That's until I realized, he was looking straight at me.
