Challenging The Luna!

Chapter Eight: Xavier

I was holding Aria's hand. When Bettany stopped in front of Aria. Challenging her of the Luna position. I couldn't believe that she was doing this. Then Aria accepted.

I couldn't believe it. My little Firecracker accepted it. Then she wanted to fight now instead of tomorrow.

I stood there so nervous because I had never seen her fight before and I was scared she'd get hurt.

I was wrong. She was just amazing and graceful. She was fast and her beautiful wolf was even faster. I couldn't keep up with where her wolf Mystic went. Until she bit down on Bettany's neck.

My wolf and I were jumping with joy. She won. My mate won. I was so happy that she did it. When they both transformed back into a human. When Aria said, "I wouldn't do that?"

I looked toward Bettany and she pulled out a knife. Then started towards Aria. My wolf wanted to take over. When we saw Aria turned around breaking her wrist and then punched her in the face knocking her out cold.

I couldn't believe it. My little Firecracker was so strong and smart. She's going to be an amazing Luna.

When Aria's dad yelled at her. Xander my wolf didn't like him touching her that way. So I walked towards them and snatched her away from him. I didn't care if he didn't like it. She was my mate. Xander growled. I saw her father getting angrier. When out of nowhere. She kissed me on the lips. Then told me her father wouldn't hurt her.

Then they walked on. I stood there watching them disappear into their house. That sits right across from the pack house.

I was standing there so proud of her. Aria my crush is my mate. Plus she's my Luna. Then next week we go to the new Academy.

I was still standing there watching. When her three brothers walked up to me. They had the biggest grins on their face. I smirked.

When Zane said, "Did you see our little sister? She was just amazing. We couldn't believe how fast she was. What about you? What do you think about your mate?"

When I heard Aria say, "Yes Xavier tell us about your mate."

I slowly walked towards her and said, "Well my little Firecracker was just amazing, smart, fast, beautiful and so many more things. There are words that I can't think of now because I'm lost for words when I stare into your silver eyes. That just hypnotizes anyone. I get lost in them."

Then I pulled her to me and kissed her passionately. I felt her melt in my arms. I was finally whole. I didn't think I could live like this. Aria is everything I ever dreamed of. She's my mate, my crush, and my Luna. Our Luna.

Then I heard my three best friends say, "Awe."

I smiled because everything is perfect. I don't know what the future will bring. But I know one thing. If I have these four in my life. Then we can help each of us to get through any pain that is thrown at us.
