Willow's POV: Shaking, I redialed Tom's number but am met with  his voicemail. I dialed Tim but was met with the same fate. I run into my bedroom and pulled out my suitcase. s**t!!!! I haven't done laundry this week and my clean clothes were limited. Grabbing a few clean shirts and a pair of yoga pants, I ran out the door.  Now is the only time, I ever wished I knew how to drive. Pulling up my rideshare app I requested a ride to the airport. One hour and a $100 later I'm at DIA trying to get a flight to New York City. Giving my credit card to the agent made me wince. I guess I won't be eating for the next month, how could one flight cost $500? By midnight I was on the plane not knowing what to expect when I landed. Once the plane landed, I was on my feet. Running to the exit I continued to call my brothers and my mom. No one was answering. Jumping into the first cab I saw, I raced home. I feel comfort as the cab makes it way down my childhood street, so many fond memories come rushing to me. Pulling in front of my family's house, I throw money at the driver and sprinted up the steps.  My childhood home looked the same as the day I left. The red two story house surrounded by flowers looked as if it was locked in time. Thank goodness not much as changed and the extra front door key was under the plant pot by the door. Unlocking the heavy door, I prepare myself for the worse.  "MOM?" I echoed through the house, "TOM, TIM? Anyone!" I screamed. " Upstairs in mom's room." One of my brothers called out. Climbing the stair two at a time, I make my way to my mom's room. Slowly opening the door, I see my two brothers hovering over mom as she lays in bed covered in blankets.  "What's going on?" I asked as I look over my mom. She looked sick and pale, and kept shivering. "Willow, moms really sick..." Tom whimpered. Pulling my two brothers into a hug, I tell them everything will be okay and send them to bed. Nudging them out the door, I gently whispered, "Mom? What's going on?" "Honey, there is so much I need to tell you before I go?" She coughed back. "Go? Mom no no no! What are you talking about?" I question. "I feel it taking over, I don't know how much longer I can fight it..." She growls. "I'm so confused what are you talking about? Why are you growling?" "Honey, your brothers and me are different. We are werewolves. Your brothers will go through the change soon. Promise me you will protect them. PROMISE ME!" She screamed. "Mom you must be hallucinating, werewolves don't exist. I promise to take care of all of you."  A growl escaped my Moms lips and before I know it, her body is replaced with thick gray fur. I'm met with a werewolf with beading eyes pleading into my soul. The same eyes of my mother.  "I really need to get some sleep, this can't be real." I proclaimed. The wolf being to howl and I hear a knock at the door. I can't let me brothers see this thinking to myself.  The wolf cries in pain and I turn my head trying to find a way to comfort the creature. Grabbing a near by blanket, I wrap is around it's fur and glance into its eyes. Bright lights begin to fill the dark room, the sound of the night becomes silent, and the blanket was the only thing left on the bed. The wolf was gone, my mother was gone without a trace. Tears prickle at my eyes, for some reason I wasn't scared of the creature but felt connected to it but now it was gone. The lights fade and it was as the world stopped spinning.
