Emily's POV
I was still wearing my earrings when I heard Adrian's car horn outside.
I checked the time is exactly eight i smiled without meaning to and grabbed my bag.
He was parked right outside the building with the engine running, I came through the door and he was already leaning over to push the passenger door open from the inside.
"Morning," he said.
"Morning," I got in and the first thing I noticed was the coffee sitting in the cupholder on my side.
Takeaway cup, still steaming and I picked it up and took a sip before I even put my seatbelt on.
Little milk, no sugar just the way I like it
I looked at him, he was already pulling out into the street, one hand on the wheel, eyes on the road, acting like it was nothing.
"Thank you," I said.
