Connor, Mr Jonathan and the twins Sam and Pam entered the dull looking living room, they couldn't find a single soul in the room not even Damon.
"Follow me." Connor said as he took them to where April was. They entered the room only to find her still unconscious even when Dana had already healed her injuries.
Sam and Pam's mouth were slightly opened as they couldn't believe they finally got to see the infamous witch. Just like the witches, the vampires had also told tales of the evil witch. Even though Sam and Pam lived in the human world alongside with their uncle Jonathan, they had still heard of the tale of the evil witch from their uncle that was why they had insisted on coming here with him when they heard Connor telling their uncle about the evil witch.
"I can't believe i finally got to see the infamous Margaux." Pam said staring at the sleeping human on the bed.
"I'll leave you to treat her." Connor said as he excused himself searching for Dana. He really hoped she had not gone yet, he didn't want her to leave without a proper goodbye because he didn't know when he would get to see her again. Walking towards the backyard, he saw Caesar lighting his cigarette to smoke.
"You're here, where have you been? I went to grey city and i was told you weren't there." Connor said, walking up to him.
"I had an appointment." He replied offering Connor a cigarette.
"I already quit smoking." Connor said rejecting his offer. He looked at the sky which was already dark. "Have you seen Dana?" He asked remembering the main reason he was here.
"Ah, that little witch. I guess she had left."
Connor let out a disappointed sigh upon hearing Caesar's reply, he had really wanted to walk her home and see her one last time but seems like he was late this time. If only he had gotten here earlier..... maybe if he had gotten here earlier he would have been able......He clenched his fist, he knew it was pointless for him to blame himself but he just couldn't help it, he just.....
"What is it?" Caesar asked as he noticed Connor became moody after hearing Dana had gone.
"Nothing." He turned to leave but stopped as he asked. "Did she say anything before leaving? Hmm Margaux, was she able to look into her memory?"
"No, she was unable to see through her memories. Margaux's memories are hidden." He answered looking at the cigarette on his hand.
Connor sighed loudly as he couldn't believe what he had just heard. Margaux was vulnerable now and he wondered how she managed to hide her memories. He had thought that it would all be over once Dana see through her memories and find a way to break the curse but everything just seem complicated, why can't things be easy for them?
"What about Damon? What did he say?" He questioned.
"Nothing much, he believes as long as she is with him, he would be able to make her remember her past, maybe he has a plan." Caesar answered.
Knowing the type of person Damon was, Connor could not help but agree to what Caesar had just said. Damon might actually have a plan,a plan he hadn't yet told them about.
