Alma bit her lower lip she was breathless trying to think of what to do next, her mother stood next to the small burgundy table opposite a bookshelf. "I won't take it, mom. I won't let Elizabeth take what belongs to me," she said furiously. "She won't, I'll make sure. You have to do your part in trying to convince him the alpha king," Tabitha muttered. "Why did you leave at first, Elizabeth wouldn't have taken your place at first," Tabitha complained. "She's stubborn and if the alpha finds out you eloped with some guy, I can't imagine what he'll do to you." "I had to mom, at first I thought Matthew was a decent young man. But he's nothing more than an asshole freak, a liar mom," Alma said tears almost rolling down her cheek. She wipe her tears with a tissue. "Help me get the alpha king back mom, I love him." Her mom rest a thoughtful finger on her chin, deep in her thoughts she tried to look for an easy way to remove Elizabeth out of the picture so her daughter will have the alpha king back to herself. Like a morning sunshine drifted into her wicked thought, she looked up to her daughter with a wide grin. "I have a plan." Seeing the sudden expression on her mother face, Alma let out a relaxing sigh. "I've been trying to convince the alpha king that Elizabeth pretend to act like me, just because she wants all the benefits to herself." "Did he believed you?" Tabitha asked sternly. "I'm not sure, Elizabeth is a good actress. She was crying and stuffs, but I'm sure the alpha king didn't fall for her trick." Her mother sat on a chair next to burgundy table her hand fall on top of in, it was quite painful but she endured the pain. She was worried, a lot of thoughts were going through her mind. She turned to face her daughter, a little lost in her shallow mind. "I have a plan to get her out of the way." Tabitha said. Alma face brightened up, a smile pulled across her lips. "What's the plan mom?" She asked eagerly. "Leave it for me, I'll have my way this time. Elizabeth is just like a prey for a predator situation, I'll try to force her to confess it to the alpha king. While you'll do your job by making him available when we are to execute this plan." Alma stood up her the chair and rushed to hug her mother. "That'll work, I'm sure this time Elizabeth will be out of the way." She refrained herself from the hug. "Thanks mom, I just hope this works out. I can't wait to have my man back." Tabitha took a strand of her daughter hair and tucked it behind her ears. "What's with the weary look, you need to do something about your look. The alpha king might fall for Elizabeth if all he sees is beauty and your side a weary figure." Alma took a step away from her mother. Removing the strand of hair that was tucked behind her ear, she smoothened it with her palm and sighed deeply. Like a load has been lifted from her chest. "I've always been pretty, how did you think the alpha got enchanted by me at first. Elizabeth is just a fading color in my story, mom. She's an outcast." Tabitha smiled, not just any kind of smile but a satisfying one. She could picture her daughter ruling over the sky prowler kingdom already, so much she hope to benefit and she won't have to do much convincing to get them. She had always craved for power and if she isn't going to have it her way, she'll use her precious daughter. "Mom, what am I going to do?" Alma asked worried. "What if the alpha king sent me home, it'll make it difficult to execute out plan." Tabitha gave her daughter a thoughtful eyes once more. "You don't have to leave, you have to convince the alpha king so he'll won't sent you back home. Seduce him if you have to, I know he still have love in his heart for you and that's the weapon we'll use. His emotions is the key. I'm sure things will go out way and for once Elizabeth will be out of the picture." "Thanks mom, what will I do without you? You're my precious gem and once I get my place back next to the alpha king, I'll make sure you move to the palace with me. We'll rule this kingdom together." Tabitha gave her daughter a sweet smile and they both wrapped each other in a tight hug. A daring smile escaped her lips as she patted her daughter hair slowly. That word was promising and that's all she ever wanted, things was about to go her way the only thing in her way was Elizabeth and she'll anything to erase her out. "I have to go now, before anyone sees me. Don't want to make things worst, if the alpha sees me he'll suspect something," Tabitha said as they pulled out of the hug. "I'll check the environment for anyone," Alma suggested. She walked toward the door her hand hung limply on the door, she opened it slowly looking around to check for anyone in the vicinity. When she was sure there was no one she signaled her mother who walked closer taking another glance around to ensure her daughter was right. She walked slowly out of the door scared, her heart pounding in her chest. She walked hastily down the hallway and toward the back entrance of the building. ***** Tension filled the chamber, a feeling of dismay and confusion as the alpha king battled with his thoughts. There was no exception, this day wasn't something he had always wish he had. Being lost in his thoughts without his henchmen around made things cloudy.
