I was startled from my quiet nighttime reading by the loud sound of the emergency bell ringing with a high pitch boom across the entire palace. I swiftly stood up from my chair, held my source of light in my hand and left my study to find out what was really happening.
I saw several of my servants running towards my direction In fear. I was confused. I tried to stop any of them trying to escape and ask them what was happening. I saw a guard coming to me; finally the prevailing questions bugging my mind would finally be answered.
