The numerous eyes digging deep into my body made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I looked around at the several faces that stared at me, preparing myself for the worse. I knew very well I had been summoned based on accusations and suspicions going around that I was involved in the 'accident' Elizabeth experienced while she was on the stairs. I was fully aware of the consequences I would face if I was found guilty of those accusations. I could be jailed for life or maybe beheaded. I could even be tortured as punishment to soothe Alpha king Agustus' bitter soul. As a result of the fear of undergoing tremendous pain and embarrassment, I was prepared to deny every accusation or charges thrown at me with incredible portrayal of innocence.
