Maya's Point of View
When I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by darkness. "HELLO," I screamed into the darkness.
"Hello," I heard a man say. He sounded close, but I could not see him when I looked around. I stretched my arms out, but I could not feel him.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"The void." The man said in a calm voice.
"Who are you, and why am I here?"
"I am Dex, and I brought your spirit here, Maya."
"Dex as in Liv's mate?"
"Yes," The man said.
"Why have you brought me here?" I demanded.
"I want to talk," But he did not explain further.
"About?"
"I want out."
I started to laugh. "I told you what you needed to do in order for me to release you."
"Indeed you did, but you see, I do not submit to no one. I am the dark warlock."
