It has been three weeks since Selene and the girls left, and I am becoming aggravated. Why is this taking so long? The sky was starting to change colors again, and my nerves were shot.
I hoped the plan was working.
As I was sitting at my desk, Jay burst through the office door and ran to me. I picked him up and placed him in my lap.
"You okay, bud?" I asked.
"Yes. I want my mom," He said as he started to cry.
