Maya's Point of View
I was near a coven, I could feel their power, and I wanted it, but before I could do what I wanted, I felt an immense about of pain. I fell to my knees, and then I heard the screams of my mate. He was being killed, and I needed to save him.
I slightly lifted my hands and sent out a tiny burst of magic so I could locate him, and I did. I slowly stood up and transported myself to his location.
"Now, Emma," A woman screamed, and I watched as another woman created a barrier.
I stood outside the barrier and looked at my mate, and smiled.
"Told you she would come," The one woman said as she looked at my mate and then turned towards me.
