First day- First mistake

Sophia I can't believe what just happened. I ran away from my in-laws and mate because life there was pushing me to a dead end that I didn't want, but now I am stuck here in this biker town that I didn't know anything about. And what's worse, I broke something expensive and became their slave. I don't know what they expect of me now...I am wolfless, and that's also one of the biggest reasons why my family couldn't love me. I only used to hear about how in the far north there is a town that is run by werewolf bikers. Everyone calls them biker alphas, and now I have met them and become their slave. I toss and turn around in the new bed in the new room that I have been given by them in their MC house. It's a four-floored house, and I have been given a room on the third floor. All three of them live on the topmost floor. The other patched members live on the second floor, and downstairs is the bike workshop. I haven't met anyone else besides them for now, and I am grateful that I haven't, but it won't last for long. Tomorrow is my first working day here, and I am scared. Back with my mate, I did all kinds of work, but they were all odd jobs like cleaning, cooking, etc. I was never once given official duties. They were all given to his best friend, Riley, even though I was his fated Luna. Riley was the only one who was kind to me in the whole pack until I found out her true colours as well. It broke me, and I couldn't endure staying there for a day longer. Tears prick my eyes as everything approaches me with the speed of a shooting star, only it's not the kind that brings you good luck. I turn towards the small window in the room, and my eyes widen when I notice two shadows hovering around. Panic shoots up my spine, and I quickly cover my face with the blanket. Don't tell me... Are they here!? Is Andrew here? Please, goddess no! Don't let him find me here! I dare not look through the window again, afraid to find them lurking there or worse spot Andrew's face among them, unaware that later it was going to lead to another bigger incident that I would get tangled in. I didn't realise when sleep found me last night, and woke up directly in the morning only to step into another blunder. I don't know a thing about the bikes, and the first thing I am told in the morning is to help in the workshop by a middle-aged woman, who didn't tell me who she was, but she was kind. I stand here awkwardly downstairs among the sprawling, rugged bikers who are working on their bikes. I thought it would be something related to cooking or cleaning, but the work is related to the bikes. There are a total of three of them. Still, the workshop looks crowded because of how huge everyone is. They keep staring at me in between their work, but none of them says anything until one of them, whom I hadn't noticed, gets out from under a bike and locks eyes with me. I shift my weight on my feet. "Are you the new girl the president has recruited?" He questions. I nod...remembering Devil. His eyes scan me from up and down and then narrow on the silver strand in my black hair that I try to hide as much as possible. I grow conscious when he keeps looking at it. I don't know why it is there in my head. I was born with it, but it still became one of the many reasons for people to attack me. I squirm in my place uncomfortably, and then he smiles. "Relax. Newbie, come help me." He walks back to the bike he was working on and tells me to follow him. "I am working on this Harley because we have to get it ready for the race tonight." Will there be a race tonight? I tilt my head quizzically, but I don't ask anything. He looks up and scolds me. "Why are you standing like a parrot there? Get me the engine oil." I flinch and look around. There is a wooden shelf close to me where a lot of things are kept, including oil cans. "Which one is it?" I ask. "It's the blue one." He answers, and I do what he tells me, proceeding to pour it into the inlet he told me to, but then all hell breaks loose when another biker's gaze falls on me. "Jeez, you woman, did you just pour brake oil into the engine oil inlet!?" He shrieks, covering his ears with an appalled reaction. "I-I did what he told me to," I say in my defence, pointing at the one who called me a parrot. "When did I tell you to pour the brake oil into the engine oil inlet?" He cross-questions, stopping his work, throwing the piece of cloth in his hand on the floor. "I worked on this bike for three days, and now you destroyed it!" He cries out. "I-I didn't know it was the brake oil. All the cans here are blue." Both of them stare at the oil cans, and like I said, they are all blue. The other biker turns them around and shows me the big, bold lettered text written on them. "See, it clearly states it's the engine oil. Can't you read?" He snarls, and I cower away. The previous biker didn't mention anything about the labels. So why are they getting angry with me now? "I just picked it up without checking the labels since I didn't know there were any," I mutter, finding myself on the verge of tears. I hate it. I hate how easily I get scared. "It's okay, Rugger, stop it now." The other biker holds the one who yelled at me back, telling him to let go of the matter. But he is still furious. "But we need that bike for the race tonight!" He cries. "How could she-- "Why the commotion?" A deep, throaty voice cuts in, stopping Rugger mid-sentence. Everyone's eyes travel in the direction of the voice, and so does mine. It's Horse. His hair sways in the wind, and he runs a hand through it, glaring at all three of us. "Why am I hearing the noise so early in the morning?" He drawls, walking towards us. His eyes flicker through each of our faces before they linger on mine. I grow nervous and drop my gaze to the floor, but before I do, I catch a glimpse of a smile on his face. "Speak." He growls in a low voice, casting a furious gaze at the bikers standing beside me. "Boss!" Rugger speaks up. "She poured brake oil into the engine oil inlet of the Harley we have been trying our best to get moving because of the competition tonight." I grow scared, getting flashbacks of last night when Bill did the same with me. How much more debt am I going to pile up in my account? Why am I being such a klutz? I gnaw on my lower lip, afraid to hear what he has to say for me when a rough, warm hand tugs my lip out of my incisors' grip. "You are going to ruin your pretty cherry lips, female." He rasps, rubbing his thumb over the spot where I dug my teeth into. "I don't know what punishment I will have to give you for damaging my collateral, and I promise you that it will precede the one for damaging the bike." He reveals, shocking me, and it is going to be one of the many shocks that I will receive later.
