Chapter Five Ringmaster It was pitch black outside when he came for her. The light coming on overhead wakened her and he slid back the bolt and entered the stall with a stealth she wouldn’t have thought possible. Without a sound, he signaled her out of her warm bed, exchanged her wrist cuffs for a closer fitting pair and joined them behind her back. He’d brought a leather collar for her neck, clipped a thick nylon braided lead to it and led her out into the chilly darkness. At the end of the walkway, he turned right up a slight incline, then left, toward the lamppost where Loughlin had whipped her.
