OWEN'S POV My grip on the wheel tightened. The car was quiet except for the road noise and Jamie singing along queitly to the music in the back seat. The ride was supposed to be peaceful. But nothing about this day was peaceful. Not after the court’s decision. Alexis out on bail. Those words made my gut twist. I looked at Zoe. She sat with her hands clasped together.
