CHAPTER 25

SCIENTIST SHYAM KIDNAP AND RELEASE:

Scientist Shyam and Doctor Vishal felt like taking leave for one month and wanted to go on pilgrim tour. For this both were prepared to take vacation. Doctor Vishal with his family members went to his parents’ house at Bengaluru.

In the meantime, Scientist Shyam was kidnapped by anti-social elements and wanted to grab the medicine formula, which the Scientist invented. A group of unknown gangsters took the Scientist Shyam to an unknown place and were threatening the life. These gangsters demanded the medicine formula from Scientist. This kidnap of Scientist issue was unaware by Doctor Vishal. 

This kidnap drama was spread in the entire village of Atmakur. The news also relayed in TV channels and newspapers. Scientist Shyam’s family members gave a Police complaint on this, stating that Shyam was not seen for couple of days and smelt that something went wrong like kidnapping. Family members were worried. Police registered the FIR and started enquiring whereabouts of Scientist Shyam. A group of Police personnel, in civil dress, started enquiring about Shyam, the Scientist. Police were in search of Scientist at different places. Police were trying to establish the valid reasons and wanted to search all the crucial place. Police came to know that Scientist Shyam was not a financially sound man. 

Kidnappers too knew well about the weak financial status of Scientist. Police were enquiring about Shyam’s whereabouts from all angles. Kidnappers troubled Scientist severe rely and demand the medicine formula. Even the gangsters threatened to kidnap the entire family members, if Scientist did not heed to their demand. Scientist never worried about these types of tortures from gangsters. Few days rolled away. There was no trace of Scientist whereabouts. Police were trying their level best to find out the whereabouts of Scientist Shyam.

In the meantime, Scientist Shyam’s wife each time approaching Police, TV channels, newspapers and media and reports and requesting them to give wide publicity on this subject, so that every person in and around the Village/State would come to know about the kidnap of Scientist Shyam. Gangsters never asked any money from Scientist. Actually, kidnapper’s idea was that if this newly invented medicine formula is sold to foreign countries, kidnappers would get a good amount. These kidnappers were not professional ones. This point even Police knew well. For this reason only, Police were trying to act on wait and see policy. But pressure was coming from the Ministers and from the top Police brass. 

This subject had become a serious issue, as days pass on, and Police were very serious in finding out the whereabouts of Scientist Shyam. Police had taken up this issue on challenging basis, as pressure was mounting on Police from all corners. Government also took this issue on a serious note. 

Police, at last, could be able to establish the whereabouts of Scientist Shyam. One Mafia gang from Mumbai remote area, kidnapped Scientist Shyam. However, Police traced Scientist Shyam, and brought back to his place Atmakur Village.  All the gangsters were arrested. 

Family members of Scientist Shyam were happy for this. Everybody had a sigh of relief. Scientist Shyam had an offer from a Pharmaceutical company from Mumbai for his newly invented medicine formula.  Immediately, Scientist Shyam agreed to sell his formula medicine for Rs. 2 crores. Accordingly Scientist, in consultation with Doctor Vishal, has sold the medicine formula to the Pharmaceutical Company immediately. Scientist Shyam and his family members were happy for this.  Doctor Vishal was also too happy for this success. 

Scientist Shyam still was not happy. Why? Shyam, the Scientist,  and the family were afraid on the Ghosts attitude. The family members and relatives were too worried and afraid that Ghosts can harm them in future too. The reason was, the Invention of Formula and the experiments made on dead bodies of people, regaining life and becoming dead again. The Ghosts were not able to leave this earthly place thinking that they get the life again. Scientist Shyam was in touch with Doctor Vishal re gulls and enquiring about any evil happening from Ghosts. Doctor Vishal also was somewhat uneasy because something can happen from Ghosts side anytime. However, the Scientist Shyam was preparing Anti-Formula to get rid of from the Ghosts troubles.  Even the local people and neighbour's of Doctor Vishal and Scientist Shyam were not willing to speak because Ghosts may harm. Them too anytime. Psychological fear was gripped among many people.  

In the meantime, may relatives of dead persons used to meet Scientist Shyam and Doctor Vishal to help the dead to become live, so that the relatives could know about the details of locations cash, gold and properties where the dead person had kept. The anxiety from dead person's relatives has come more to like-light, and watch and ward from the Press and Reports were quite often meeting  Scientist Shyam and Doctor Vishal. This is making nuisance and uneasy to both of them. 

Scientist was regularly meeting Doctor Vishal at the Hospital. Speaking and exchanging ideas on how to completely get rid of these Ghosts menace and how to make another Anti - Dose formula. Both were also worried about the Government constant warning about these episodes. Total villages, total towns, total Press and Government knew about these Ghosts episodes well. It had become an  uneasy situation to Scientist and the Doctor. Deeply thinking on various points on the Anti-Formula Invention. They were also discussing simultaneously on the issues related to performing marriage to their daughters soon. 

These two friends psychologically depressed and were not able to come to conclusion.  The reason was the agony Doctor and Scientist confronted earlier.  Both were not willing to face the earlier situation. Nor they were like to part with the project. Both were responsible. 

Invention of Formula was good. But, various problems are cropping up. Both were getting disturbed. . 

Days are rolling, months are passing, but there was no solution to get rid of from Ghosts attacks and troubling both.                                  

GHOSTS CHIT CHAT, GOSSIP, GHOSTS SING A SONG.

One Ghost asks each of other Ghosts, in leisure time while chit chatting, how one died. Ghosts told each other that the Doctors and the Hospital Managements did not take proper care during the treatment, and the Hospital Managements are bothered only for money and shown professionalism with commercial type treatment.

The second Ghost tells, I died with Blood Cancer, The third Ghost tells Brain Cancer and Kidney problem. The fourth Ghost tells, Breast Cancer, and Heart Problem, The fifth Ghosts tells, Colon cancer and rectal, and Liver Cancer, The sixth Ghost tells, Lungs Cancer, Prostate Cancer and Ovarian Cancer. 

Ghosts said and intra-acted that there are 10 dangerous cancers, which have no cure, they are - (1) Lung and bronchial cancer (2) Colon and rectal cancer (3) Breast cancer (4) Pancreatic cancer (5) Prostate cancer (6) Leuukemia cancer (7) Non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer (8) Liver and intrahepatic bile duct cancer (9) Ovarian cancer (10) Esophaeal cancer.

Ghosts also said and discussed amongst themselves that there are more than 100 types of various and different types of cancers as most people die due to these types of cancers.

One Ghost asked the other Ghosts to spell out the cancer types, if any ghosts knew. Then one Ghost knew about these 100 types of cancers, as he remembers though dead, since he was the medical student.

All the Ghosts unanimously told that the Hospital fellows have given us Chemotherapy and other Treatments and medication, to the extent of around 10-15 times and till we exhaust all our financial resource. We became bankrupt and were unable to pay the hospital bills and hospital authorities did not discharge us till our death in the hospital. We were discharged from the hospital after our death only to become Ghosts luckily, and at least we are on the earth and air moving here and there.

One Ghost tells other Ghosts that – “ULTIMATE TARGET”.

The ultimate target in any way is Husband, as it is very clearly envisaged by wife. So, the Husband is the scapegoat and the Husband cannot escape from the clutches of his wife and there is no other go. It is a foregone conclusion that in most cases, the Husband has to obey the directives of his counterpart and there is no other alternative except to live with, due to lovely affectionate over family members.”

Ghost 1 Tells other Ghosts:

BONELESS TONGUE

The creation of delicate tongue smoothness has been designed by the God linked to the heart without any bone. As such we should not use harsh and dirty words through our august tongue and avoid pain to the heart.  Heart and Tongue are like brother and sister. 

DRIVE THE DEATH AWAY 

Death shall die if you don't care for death. Be bold and don't care when bedridden in hospital, death never come to you. Death is for only Weaker Hearts and not for Brave Hearts. One who cares for Health,  Death cares for Life. 

DIPLOMACY. 

Buy a carton of Beer.  No problem.  If you keep all bottles in Fridge,  wife gets irritation and declares war.  If you keep one bottle in fridge and consume no irritation to wife.  Keep one bottle of Beer in Fridge and consume the same way all times.  This is Diplomacy. 

*  When flatters meet, the devil goes to dinner. 

*  When pinch comes, you remember the old shoe.

First Ghost Tells the following story:

DECEIVER’S LIFE

          Everywhere some problem or the other exists. There are people who deceive colleagues and employees we come across below type of activities in each and every office, factory, and government offices.  Because of such incidents, many people/employees suffer financially being deceived by deceivers. However, people are intelligent to recover their investments, losses and doubtful credits and deposits.

          People, sometimes do realize about their past misdeeds & wrongs and mistakes.  But, the time cannot roll back. Time will not stop. Day-by-day people get older and older. One should know the objective of life, goal, responsibility and more than all a concrete plan of action to settle down in his/her life. Such disciplined people would be able to guide the youth and the younger generation people, to the righter perspective angle. Of course, some people commit mistakes and mistakes do happen and people commit such mistakes could be rectified. People move in the public life and people live in the society for all purposes viz, education, career, business sake. Different types of people come across to each and everybody with various ideologies and with varied frame-of-mind set.

           These days are such that many people get influenced on various good and bad issues and during the process of business transactions some people land in problems due to mishandling the topics. The reasons could be many. Who will monitor such people? Who will give proper advice to such people? Who will come to rescue and who will guide such people? One cannot answer these questions.

          In this aspect, one will be able to understand how a person got entangled in problems, could be known if one goes through the below matter.

          On one day or the other, any deceiver is sure to land in trouble. Inviting trouble is sure for a deceiver.  There are people who initially invest his/her share in the business. No matter. But, at some day, without the knowledge of the investor, somewhere some pilferage of money will take place during the running of the business due to luxurious leading life for the sake of show put up or due to unforeseen expenditure. The business in this world is of very different types such as, Small business, petty business to big business.  Small scale industry to medium scale industry, Trading business, share market business, finance business, automobile business, cosmetic consumer items business, garment business, construction business, gold and silver business, electronic business, contracts business so on and so forth. The investment of a person depends on the size of the business. In India, many people do business of their interest in various regions and at various places.  Even employees of State, Central and Public Sector Organizations do side business, while working.  Let us now know about some incidents that landed people in trouble and take a look how a “deceiver’s life” would be. For example, some case studies are projected below:

          One employee of a factory, who was working as a Tradesman, started chits business and money lending business and used to conduct various denomination chits each month. He also used to lend money to his co-employee for interest. His name was Mr. Rao. Of course, he might have invested his own amount to commence this business.  In a span of over 10 years, he conducted many chits and earned money.  He even purchased a ‘small scale industry’ and was doing sub-contracting jobs. He used to maintain utmost confidentiality and was doing money matter with his colleagues and employees. He used not to tell anybody regarding money matters. Mr. Rao used to request people to re-invest the principal chit amounts from the chit holders for which Mr. Rao used to pay interest. Mr. Rao also used to take his colleagues PF and other loans for running the business un-interrupted.  However, Mr. Rao used to pay interest regularly to such employees.

          Some years passed on like this. Mr. Rao has gained the confidence of all the colleagues. Mr. Rao was able to manage any short fall of money by arranging money drawn from his PF loans, consumer loans, credit loans, bank loans etc to save his face value.

          Mr. Rao was a short man, around 5’-2” height and little bit fat. He used to wear total white dress always. He also used to wear ‘white shoes and complete black cooling glasses’.

          Many employees kept their PF and other amounts, thinking that high rate of interest used to get monthly in return for their principal amounts. Of course, he used to make chit amounts, interest amounts to all his customers.

          On one fine day, when he knew that he could not raise any money for making payments to customers, including chit amounts, Mr Rao felt nervous and was not able to make any payments timely to his chit holders and others. Mr Rao even was frequently absconding to office and was irregular in attendance. He used to come to office, work for one or two hours and used to push off from office.

          Of course, no mobile phone was allowed into the factory premises.  He even discarded his home landline phone.

          He was very much helpless in making any payment to anybody. Mr Rao used to get zero salary, as he has many salary deductions, in view of his taking all types of loans.  He was on ‘loss of pay’.

          On one fine day, in office he took some sleeping pills (limited quantum only), looks to be acting and show put up drama, with a ‘note written’ that he would like to die. Noticing health the condition, Mr Rao’s colleagues taken him to hospital. He was treated for 3-4 days and was discharged from hospital.    

          Now, the problem started. All the chit holders, deposit holders and others who have to receive money from him, were restless.  All these people had a meeting one day and how to get the amounts back.  Then, these chit holders and deposit holders had come to conclusion. The small scale industry which he purchased was to be sold. The proceeds derived of the sale of Mr Rao’s industry, is to be distributed as per priority basis.  These people also have come to conclusion that Mr. Rao be allowed to work for some more years regularly.  His monthly salary etc., is distributed equally to all. Mr Rao to be applied for ‘Voluntary Retirement” under VRS scheme and the proceeds be distributed amongst all the recipients of money.

          No complaint was lodged against Mr Rao with the ‘Police or with the Management’. However, Mr Rao’s family and children got disturbed due to Mr Rao’s financial mismanagement. Mr Rao became de-popular, lost his face value, no employee used to respect him; some people banged him and abused him.  Much has costed Mr Rao.  Totally, his family was on roads for few years.  He and his family never recovered financially so far.

          A couple of similar cases also took place in the same factory. Then, all the employees realized neither to organize any chits in the factory premises nor to keep deposits with any employee for the sake of higher interest.  All the employees, learned a lesson from this and stopped chit business activities.

          Factory managements should not allow such chit fund activities to run within the factory/office premises in the best interest of their employees. Some stringent actions to be taken against those conducting chit fund business, money lending business during the office/factory hours.

          Every respect the Government organizations should issue orders that no person should conduct any chit business, money lending business or any business nor chit fund schemes or any cloth business etc., within the office/factory premises.

          This will facilitate employees to work effectively and peacefully.

Second Ghost tells other Ghosts that – HEARTS BREAK.

 “Our Hearts are too sensitive towards love and at the same time, let us not damage the moods of our Hearts. Our hearts also have limitations, boundaries and barricades for love subject.  Over and above the burden, our hearts may not accept the fuse of love like electric shock. Our hearts are delicate like love subject and our hearts are not strong as brass and can break like glass which cannot be pasted and re-attached with any solutions like araldite. “

GHOSTS ARE INTELLIGENT:

In the beginning of ghosts bad acts and deeds.  All the ghosts were cursing the Doctor and Scientist.  Ghosts troubled all the local people and businessmen, police personnel too.  Lots of money, gold and diamonds kept at Doctors house without the knowledge of the Doctor. Layer, all these ghosts thought  that these collection of cash,  gold and diamonds  are to be given away to Doctor and Scientist  for their hard and sincere work.  As such, ghosts had a well-planned meeting and discussed various aspects of their future on this Earth.  Ghosts decided to give all these money to both the Doctor and the Scientist, in a beat possible way. All ghosts exchanged their previous life how they were and now how they are.  The following are the chit-chat discussions of ghosts. 

CURRENCY

If one looks at earning currency, it is useful for he / she / institutions.  If one looks at gaining goodness,  it is useful to all. But money can't long-last.  Whereas, goodness will stay forever in the history of pages.  Goodness is Priceless and Money is valueless. 

BELIEVE CONFIDENCE

If we believe our confidence, it is our Strength.  If we repose confidence on others,  it becomes  weaknesses.  A person is as powerful as like other by birth and nature.  Let's retain our own confidence, believe self and refrain from depending on others. 

DREAMS AND TRUTH

Things can be viewed which are in our purview.  Which are not, we view in Dream.  If one is able to achieve dream things to reality, such a person is Great.  Sweet Dreams always good. It never costs any money. All Dreams are Free. The God has given this facility. 

*  Truth comes out of the mouths of babes and 

    suckling. 

*  Truth is stranger than Fiction. 

*  Truth lies at the bottom of a well. 

This ghost tells a story to other ghosts:

NEIGHBOUR WITH JEALOUS MIND:

It is a city and thickly populated residential locality.  There are two poor friends, who live with their family people and children.  Both these friend families live separately in a hut side by side, in a 50 squads land.  Of course, both these two friends are in the middle age group.  These two friends earn their Lively-hood by doing small petty vegetable business and fruit business.  Both families participate in all the house-hold functions, pujas and attend marriages of their known persons.  They lived happily.

          As one knows, any family purchases any gold item or silver item or any garments or furniture on any major festival occasion, the neighbor family feels curse and jealous.  It is nothing but natural.  Everywhere the cursing and feeling jealous of somebody do happen.  In every of a family, these cursing expressions could be seen.

          On one day, due to elections season, a well known person of that city floats a new political party for contesting elections in that city.  This new political party invited all the people of that city to enroll party membership.  These two friends who live as neighbors enroll their names in the new political party. One friend, who was showing much interest in politics, works hard for the party and the party recognizes his services and gives a responsible position as an important functionary to this party.       

          During the election days, this friend works hard along with others and canvasses for the party.  This new party majority member who was nominated to contest the elections gets elected.             

          This friend, who worked hard and earns some good amount of money through pyravi (negotiations)  and as middleman also and earned money, and  then this friend purchases a good piece of land around 400 square yards and constructs a four storied building with ultra modern design in a span of two years.  He even purchases brand new car. Then this rich friend and his family members shifts from their Hut to this new building and lived happily after discarding the vegetable and fruit business

          This rich friend hut friend and could not spare any time to attend any function with his hug friend also stopped frequently speaking to his close neighbour hut friend and could not spare any time to attend any function with his hut friend.

          Then the problem started with hut friend and his family.  There was a peak jealousy and cursing by the hut friend.  Every day, the rich friend who is presently living in a hut used to see the new building.

          One Priest of a Temple who is a famous palmist and astrologist nearby used to observe the “poor hut friend” who is observing and seeing the four storied building every day and asked the Hut Friend, why you are seeing everyday this new building? What is the matter? Then the Priest asked the Hut Friend, if you want money, gold, silver or good job, I will get you.  Then the Hut Friend replied, No sir, I do not want anything.  Then the Priest asked the Hut Friend, what you need to become like your neighbour friend who has built the building in front of your Hut.  Then the Hut Friend replied to the Priest.  Sir, please make by rich friend to live like me in a Hut.  The Hut Friend also told the Priest that my rich friend should not live in that building and the Government to demolish that new building and razed to the ground, in view of his illegally earning the money through “Pyravis” (negotiations) and as “middleman”

          Then the Priest told the Hut Friend that the fate of a person cannot be changed.

          The Priest also told the poor Hut Friend that opportunities and luck knocks the door and at that time, one has to utilize such opportunities.

          Then the Hut Friend kept mum and used to never watch his rich friend’s building from the next day.  Poor Hut Friend and his family members continued to live in their Hut without any murmuring, jealous and sadism. So, the meaning of this story is that

“murmuring, jealousness and sadism never pay’s”.  Only sheer hard work pays a person that too lucks also to favor such person.
