I hope this helps: Sceapig = Sheppey Cyneflaed = kinny-fled Deormund = dee -or -mund Saewynn = say - ee -wine Eodred = ee-o – drid Coelwulf = Seal – wolf Cynebald = kinny – bald Eadlac = Ed – lack All other names should be read according to modern canons of pronunciation. NB: originally the word viking was used to describe the activity of raiding and plundering. Vikingr was the singular noun for the person who went viking. Vikingar was the plural noun.
