I had no idea back then that Nathan had gone completely mad. I knew that as long as I stayed with him, I would never, ever escape him. So when I jumped, I went in fully prepared to die. Either I would fall to my death, or burn to death in the fire. I would rather die than stay by Nathan's side. But I never in a million years expected to run into Sebastian.
