He undressed and put a pillow under his head. While dozing, the room was suddenly lit up by lightning. Instinctively he counted to calculate the time between each flash. He saw a thin boy with emerald green eyes chasing lightning up the hills of Nazareth. Thunder exploded before the fourth count, shaking the whole building. More lightning quickly followed, and rain pounded against the bedroom door. Gabriel tried to take a nap, but to no avail. He turned on the bedside light, opened the file with the pictures he had taken from Massoudi"s computer, slowly flipped from one to the next, memorizing them.
