CHAPTER ELEVEN Steve found the reminder to appear for the trial in his mail the next day. He had been summoned to appear in court to testify in the case of one Rodney Wayne Binkley, accused of armed robbery at the convenience store. Steve knew the case rested largely upon his testimony , that of the clerk, and the evidence the security camera caught. Yet, so much had happened that he’d nearly forgotten about the trial He tossed the subpoena onto his dresser as he thought over his work load. This trial could take a few days.
