Chapter 15B : The seer and awakening

391 Words
The portal behind Kristoff groaned open, admitting a figure of ethereal elegance. The Seer moved with fluid grace, silver-veined hair cascading like moonlight over her shoulders. Eyes of amethyst pierced the chamber, radiating a power that demanded recognition. Scarlet garments clung to her lithe form, yet her aura was untamed, a controlled savagery beneath serene poise. Aria’s breath hitched. “You work with him.” “I serve balance,” the Seer said, voice soft yet firm. “Bloodlines clash endlessly. You, Aria, are the pivot.” “You tried to make me surrender control,” Aria accused, chains rattling. Memories of the courtyard assault surged the visions, the warmth, the transformation she nearly completed. The Seer’s gaze held her. “I wanted you to see what you truly are. Not to fear it, but to wield it. Your power transcends pureblood legacies.” Aria absorbed the truth: half mortal, half lupine, an anomaly in a world of rigid lineages. Victor’s schemes, Kristoff’s manipulation they were all attempts to harness a force they could not contain. “You’re not afraid of me,” Aria murmured, understanding dawning. “No,” the Seer replied. “I foresaw your rise. You will be the pallid wolf that either ends conflicts or sparks them anew.” Kristoff’s posture shifted as he advanced. “We do not fear you,” he said, tone measured. “We aim to guide it. Align with us, and together we can reshape the balance of power.” Aria’s heart surged. The chains were no longer mere restraint they symbolized expectation, control, and limits. Within her, a chill of determination spread, a signal that the silver wolf would not be tamed. The Seer stepped closer, hand brushing Aria’s wrist, a link between their hybrid essences. “You will awaken fully. No tether will hold you then.” Alone now with her awakening, Aria allowed a faint grin. They had tried to orchestrate her, to bend her to their will but she was ready. Patient, insistent, and unstoppable. The silver wolf inside her hummed, a symphony of power and history converging toward its apex. The portal sealed, leaving her in solitude. Yet she was no longer alone. Strength coursed through her veins, chains scorching but no longer constraining. Very soon, she mused, the castle itself would quake beneath her unleashed power.
